Akira, cane... problem solved!!! Thx to cane's ADF I managed to make the adapter perfectly working (just boot using his disk): I don't still know what error I made, during week end I'll try to catch the differences between my WB config and the disk cane made.
I had already tried Akira's solution, but it was not working too: I think the error I made was another... I'll report it when I'll find the cause ![]() Thx again! PS: successfully tested with a 16MB Canon MMC and with a 128MB Panasonic SD |

Glad to hear that it works, now just sort out install problem. I can also report that this multicard reader works also on A600 - it's no big suprise. |

![]() If I understand this "old" thread correctly there are actually size limitations with these cardreaders... like max 4GB for SD (HC) cards... I guess I'll just stick with CF and buy some cheap 8GB. |

![]() MS PRO and MS PRO DUO are different. Your adapter is compatible with PRO but *not* with PRO DUO. I have an USB adapter (for my PC) which reads MS PROs fine, but won't read correctly my PSP's MS PRO 2GB card. |

SD and SDHC are different standards too.
SD adapters can read SD cards but not SDHC cards. SDHC adapters can read both SD and SDHC cards. Your adapter is probably SD only (not SDHC), hence it will not recognize SDHC cards... |

![]() I just tried AGAIN that 4GB Memory Stick DUO(with the ocrrespondiong MS Stick adapter, just like before). WORKED GREAT! My A1200 is currently backing up my A600HD hard drive to it ![]() SDHC may be different, but I report that SONY MEMORY STICK PRO DUO 4GB WORKS GREAT! ![]() |

![]() Mmm... this is strange. Since you spoke of an adapter: is your MS a "Memory Stick Micro (M2)" from SanDisk? If it is, it's probably not a true Duo. It's MagicGate and it's PRO, though. I have one for my PSP Lite. Quote:

I have a 100% original, Sony brand, Memory Stick PRO Duo, 4GB in size.
It came with an adaptor for making it fit onto normal Memory Stick PRO. I use this with my PSP all the time. As for software, I just used a dir manager to copy everything to directories, Pretty simple, but some times certain filenames give trouble when trying to access them on the PC |
