I'm proud to present new and fresh AMIcast Player. It can be downloaded from Aminet for AmigaOS 4 and 3, MorphOS and AROS:
http://aminet.net/package/mus/play/AMIcast_Player Program is made by Hollywood Designer. Let's say this is a proof of concept. If I could write code (in Hollywood only) it would be better. For now enjoin of direct streaming and downloading of episodes. http://www.amigapodcast.com/2017/06/...a-systems.html |

Thanks! And episode:
Almost 3 hours of great interview with Jon Lennart Aasenden! Member of Alpha Flight and later Quartex! Now he is developing Amibian.js! We are talking of course about Amibian.js, but also what is a difference between Amibian and Amibian.js. Between Amibian.js and FriendUP. There are topics about Quartex, crack scene and very technical stuff like object pascal, 68k assembler, C, C# and more. Heavy? This isn't all! What about future for Amiga(OS)? Why Java Script is a must have for Amiga, and why Pascal is important. Is it really so hard to bring modern software for Amiga computers? http://www.amigapodcast.com/2017/07/...-aasenden.html |

AMIcast - Text Interview 10 - Artur Jarosik - NetSurf
Artur Jarosik - a breakthrough if it comes to 68k browsers? It's been a while since Amiga 68k had a good and polished web browser. Until now the most popular is the old IBrowse. Would Artur and his NetSurf for AmigaOS 3.x have a chance to change this situation? He is also a member of Apollo Team (Vampire), a beta tester of AmiKit and much more! http://www.amigapodcast.com/2017/08/...r-jarosik.html |

AMIcast - Episode 25 - Matthias 'Matze' Heinrichs - Classic Amiga Hardware
Episode 25 is all about DIY hardware for classic Amiga! I have a great guest Matthias 'Matze' Heinrichs. He has made a lot of hardware project, like turbo boards, graphics cards, and small useful things. In this episode we talked of course about Matze's projects, all his work is to find at a1k.org forum (big German Amiga forum). He explains why his projects are affordable if the DIY hardware is really hard to build, why we have so high prices in Amiga world, can you make some cash based on a hobby, and much more! http://www.amigapodcast.com/2017/09/...ias-matze.html With this episode, I have also released a new version of AMIcast Player 1.1. It can be downloaded from Aminet: http://aminet.net/package/mus/play/AMIcast_Player. |

AMIcast - Text Interview 11 - HunoPPC - game ports for Amiga!
It took a lot of time to publish this great interview. Sorry for this, but the last couple of months were without Amiga stuff. But now, you can read the great text with the great man! Interesting games and more! Point of view from developer side! Enjoy! HunoPPC amuses us a lot. Its ports are the opportunity to play fairly modern games on AmigaOS 4. But HunoPPC is not only the game industry! He created the EGL wrappers library for OpenGLES 2.0, SDL benchmark charts, and FinalBurn Alpha. He is a member of the French Amiga Team. http://www.amigapodcast.com/2017/12/...oppc-game.html |

AMIcast - Text Interview 13 - Browallia and Menthos / Nukleus
The text interview with Browallia [code^gfx] and Menthos [code^msx] from Nukleus about Versus, Demoscene, and Amiga NG. Demoscene and AmigaOS 4, as well MorphOS and AROS are not playing in the same league. But sometimes is something happening. This something is, for example, the demo chart Versus also released for AmigaOS 4! http://www.amigapodcast.com/2018/05/...allia-and.html |

AMIcast - Special Episode 7 - Pixel Heaven 2018 Poland
Pixel Heaven is a big, great indie and retro gaming party. In this year it was the 6th edition. Party is always in Warsaw / Poland. Let's have a look at it. Pixel Heaven is a commercial event. It was a great opportunity to promote Amiga NG! And we did it! I was surprised how many people were interested with AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS! It shows that NG movement should be promoted outside typical retro only Amiga parties. Podcast episode: http://www.amigapodcast.com/2018/07/...el-heaven.html Video episode: [ Show youtube player ] |
