I don't know if this is any help, and can be copy and pasted into the source. As I understand it, JFF created a solution for a game he was working on here: https://eab.abime.net/showthread.php...use+pointer:// |

1. Did you go and buy any of the UFO games from Steam ? 2. Re: Game pricing on Steam You might be in for a pleasant surprise I was buying a DOW (Dawn Of War) pack, and I had previously bought some of the earlier DOW games (that were included in my new game pack purchase). When I got to the checkout, Steam had recognized that I already owned some of the games and removed the charges for the games I already owned, so I didn't end up paying twice ! I can't make any promises that its the same for you and TFFD, but deffo worth a look. 3. Re: Apocalypse I've not played that game yet. And I only played the original Apocalypse, around a friends house BITD So I'm not massively familiar with the game as a whole. Sorry I can't give you a definitive answer on that one. |

No, I've not bought anything else yet. I got Openxcom running, (TftD) but without any sound and I didn't seem to be able to adjust the resolution. The Earth globe didn't seem to rotate either, so I thought I'd try and find some docs specific to the Amiga version, but was unsuccessful. I actually really enjoyed the AGA original release of XCOM and had no problems with it. |

1. How are you trying to play TFFD ? Is it - 1.2. Running TFFD from Steam (which is using DOS box underneath) 1.3. Have you downloaded TFFD from steam, (as separate .exe files) Then imported them for OpenXCom to use ? 2. If you're going to use OpenXCom, then the best docs are going to be - The OpenXCom Wiki The PC DOS manuals and docs |

I downloaded TDotT from Steam with the plan to install the relevant bits into the Amiga OpenXCOM installation.
But the version of OpenXCOM I downloaded appears to have the TftD files already included. What I was hoping to find was some specific documentation/advice on the Amiga version of OpenXCOMM, what it is capable of, what it's limitations are and the all usual bleeding edge chatter. |

There is no separate info/docs for the Amiga release. It works the same way as openXcom on any other platform. I added the UFO files, updated the sfx files from the Windows release (higher quality than the ones for DOS) and also tweaked the music. |
