If anyone happens to have fully-working ADFs of this game, please Zone them for the benefit of everyone else

I used the [o] version on planetemu, and it worked fine this time. Maybe it's something in my config. Where's the CD32 one?

Anyone know why in Lotus 3 you have to choose between SFX and music? Admittedly the SFX in Lotus 2 were mostly horrible, but Lotus 1 sounded good. In fact, the way the SFX would interrupt one of the music tracks briefly was very cool.

Ok I dl'ed it. (Actually I think I already had it from an old torrent somewhere).

Now what do I do?
I have never tried to run a CD32 game on my A1200 before.

I assume I must burn it to CD in order to hear the CDDA correct?

I see .img .sub .ccd files. How do I burn these? I know how to use Nero, will that work?

For the record: I just tried Lotus Trilogy (the small version from the zone months ago) with patch AND I turned off my caches and it still locked up on the very first lap!

So the WHDLoad version and the other version are both doing the same thing on A1200.

I will try the CD32 cloneCD version whenever I figure out what in the name of applesauce I am sposed to do with all those files.

As the filename suggests i.e. "Amiga CD32 Lotus Trilogy (CloneCD).rar", it's a CloneCD image

Can't help you with playing it on a real Amiga 1200 though, only ever had an Amiga 500 when young...

These days I use WinUAE for everything Amiga

I tried Lotus 3 the other day on easy mode and i got to the very last track without a problem using the WHDLoad version. I will need to try it on normal though for the competition to see if it locks up on mine, but looking good so far

Normal was fine on mine with WHDLoad, but I only got up to about track seven or thereabouts so it would be interesting to know if anything goes wrong later on...

Cheers for the links. Surprising that a google-hound like myself didn't have them. These adfs have given no probs yet though.

Got wasted on the roadworks race in Medium. Gonna have to practice that. I did capture the RECS code for the race, but just looked on Lemon and under 'cheats' it has all the RECS codes available. Good for practice. A big plus for the design of Lotus 3.

Yup,
Just a shame it doesn't work in 2007 on WinUAEX

(it's hangs on a black screen after finishing a stage before giving you your score and this is random too but more often after stage 6 on easy)

Starting to live up to it's title now. I rolled across the line of the futuristic level, and was about 300 yards from the snow finish.

grrr, the game is locking up for me after completing the first track. I'll have to try some other versions...

(this is the first time I played lotus 3... am I stupid for saying that lotus 2 is far better?)
