I didn't do anything special besides adding floppy_write_length=0x3390 to my config file.
I used PowerCopy v3.07a cracked by StingRay, the only 100% working version.
Source drive: DEV:
Target drive: DF0:
Pointed DEV path to folder with the files on my harddisk, hit Accept and then Start and that's all.

Yes. same here, it just hangs at track 43. Sometimes it's slow loading too.

Ah well, onwards and upwards

I'll keep trying though, things usually click into place and besides, Retroplay already uploaded a working version, so it's something to aim for.

Isn't the game slow to load though. I almost gave up on it loading, then track counter would start moving a couple of times then stop again! There's no music or sound while it's loading either.
Are you using "JIT-mode" , or cycle exact ?

I just tried again without floppy_write_length=0x3390 added to config, that boots and seems to work fine too as BarryB said earlier.
It's in the zone if you want to have a look.

It looks like it.
Does yours says Cracked by StingRay for EAB in May 2011 on the splash screen ?

If not, you have a knackered version.
StingRays version can be found on the EAB FTP.

[edit]
Doh too slow.

Think CE is only needed when WRITING! If I disable CE or CE DMA/Memory in my A1200 WinUAE config then I can't write a working eADF, if I enable both those CE settings then I can!

It also seems CE is not needed for loading as the game loads if CE is on or off for me, it also takes about 107 seconds to load on A500 config, that's 1min 47seconds to the mathematically challenged On the A1200 config it loads in 52 seconds

idem happens in real hardware the A500 vs A1200
the A500 is a turtle loading games compared to the A1200 specially the games which uses crunched files
ie try the cracked version of Agony on the A500 then on the A1200 and you will see

We are so spoilt with WinUAE

1min 47secs, it'll do for me, Barry, no need to complicate things

How long does it take to load on a real miggy, 1day, 2days?

I done a floppy for my A1200 it worked perfect in the first try
yet on winuae for some unknown reason doesn't work here , I don't care I will not try it anymore

on my A1200 + 020 28 mhz turboboard it takes 1.02 min to load
measured since I push reset keys until music starts

btw,

this game is fantastic, I finished it 20 years ago but yet I love it, I recommend to all to play it until end

the music of this game is amazing , was composed by the best Amiga music composer Alister Brimble, maybe this game contains the best set of music tracks in all Amiga games

edit

to celebrate the event I done a video booting the game in my A1200

Yes I know about the onedisk version from Blackcat but it's buggy the title music is missing.

Is it possible to create a 880kb ADF image from those IPF images?

Maybe someone from Flashtro can help me?
