Yes of course! But I was really referring to the fact that really very few games made use of the additional storage space provided by the CD media - a lot were simply diect ports, or occasionally direct ports with the addition of CD audio.

I think you should spend it all on beer and then post a youtube video of the effects...

Not true for burned media. Might be the case in an ideal world, but I have seen many CD-Rs from the late 90ies fail while most of the floppy disks still work. But I agree on the theoretical part. Especially when made in a pressing plant, properly mastered CDs should last much longer.

This offer is open again - I'm not sure what happened with Galahad's fix, whether he just lost interest or something else. Anyone out there reckon they can fix it?

Sorry to bump this request again - if necessary I'm willing to increase the bounty offered for this. Please can someone help?

Is this urgent? If not, I will have a look but it won't be too soon as I don't have much time these days (and bought a lovely 1983 VW "toy" recently which means even less time for Amiga related things ). Also, I can't promise anything as I don't have much experience with CD32 stuff. Oh, and as for your money, keep it.

ah, not urgent at all StingRay. Note that the only requirement is to get the game running on a stock 2MB CD32. I don't mind the fact that a keyboard is required

Also, I can obviously create the iso myself. Note musashi5150's comments on the previous page.

After a few days work I've got a 100% full 2MB version of this running on my WinUAE emulated stock CD32 Thanks go to girv for lending me the crack patch from his WHDLoad install.

Of course a WinUAE CD32 isn't a real one so I want to give it some testing on real hardware myself before I start setting it free into the world so I'm keeping my eyes peeled on eBay for a cheap CD32 system with PSU & pad... fingers crossed I find one soon.

For the cynical amongst you I did it for my own amusement and not for the bounty.

Watch this space

I've been playing this all evening on a real CD32 and it is fantastic. Thanks to mushashi5150 for doing this for free. Will make it publicly downloadable very soon... if I can stop playing it!

Update: Steve Turner is sending me a DAT tape containing what he thinks is the unreleased CD32 soundtrack for Uridium 2. I'll make this publicly downloadable soon.

CD-R longevity depends on dye and storage conditions. Many older dyes don't last very long. CD-R technology seems to last longer DVD-/+R though.

DAT tape received and forwarded on to a data recovery company. Hopefully I'll have a copy of the unreleased CD32 soundtrack to share by the end of the week!

That would be awesome! Hopefully the data is not lost and can be recovered.
BTW there was also an anouncement for Ruff'n'Tumble CD32 back in the days ...
