during the day, pot noodle and a bottle of lilt, then in the evening a cup 'o tea and then alcoholic beverages to keep me fueled to the finish

has anyone else notice that large intakes of caffeine or sugar or alcohol actually improve your gaming ability? like you suddenly get ultra fast microing abilities on civ or whatever

For me it's peanuts, Smiths Corn Bugles (the snack!) or chips in general (how do you call the little fried slices of potatoes? ). This happens when I play Adventures or old skool RPGs.

I can't eat & play games at the same time...I've only got two hands.

BUT, there is always a beer handy to chug while the next level is loading

Ahh, thank you Fingerlickin. I know chips are what we call 'Pommes Frittes', but I didn't know that our 'Chips' are crisps over there.

For the loading screen issue : It's Coke Light before 7-8 pm and after a beer or glass of wine

No, it doesn't
I get exactly two results and one is this thread
The other one is something about outdoor sports in polish in which I can't figure out anything...
So, what the hell do you mean?

Oh, right, sorry about that, should be "pecene brambory" (with a "\/" on the top of letter "C"), that's why google gave only 2 results, lol
This is what I meant, and that's czech for french frites, pommes frites, potato chips, or whatever you want to name it

pecene (cz) = baked (eng) = pieczone (pol)
brambor (cz) = potato (eng) = pomme (ger) = ziemniak (pol)

Tricky, isn't it?

: put's his teacher glasses on :
brambor (cz) = potato (eng) = pomme de terre (fr) = kartoffel (ger) = ziemniak (pol)
And now the real question : ketchup or mayonnaise?

Damn, messed again, I feel stupid now, considering that we polish in Silesia also use the word "kartofel" instead of "ziemniak"...
Sorry, Sir! I shall write it 10000 times on the blackboard to rememberize!

Dry roasted peanuts inserted into hula-hoops is a good gamers power snack between levels
