Its a real bummer when a good case goes yellow even worse when its one side! its look bloody awfull!
I have an a2000 keyboard in the shed I sanded up and then used Brasso to polish it! I looks all shiny now.... but at the end of the day its not the same as it once was |

Im thinking of spraying my A1200, 1084S and My external CDROM and floppy White and Bondai Blue!
As well as covering the yellowing it will look quite cool next to my iMac That red amiga looked ok but did not look painted very well, if ya gonna spray it spray one coat then sand down level with very fine sand/carbon paper then respray, If you do this about 3 times you will get a fantastic factory looking finnish BTW, Just found a 1meg ram board for amiga if anyones interested: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=2056700350 Last edited by Mick_AKA; 25 September 2002 at 18:32. |

I seem to remember a craze of spray-painting shortly after the Atari ST and Amiga came out, they were a few competitions in some of the magazines to produce a cool design. I might get around to doing mine, although i seem to have avoided yellowing.
Still first things first - get my harddrive well again |

Im not running my hard drive at the moment, too many problems the cable is probarbly a bit too long, may go for a buffered IDE interface from eyetech as they are only £14 including postage
Anyone know if they are any good? |

Can you run 2 on one system?
I have a 300w PC power supply I built into a standard amiga power supply case (including the fan!) so descent amounts of power isnt a problem. |

I cant remember who makes it, I think it may be the guys that make turtle wax!
If you cant get any and you fancy a black A1200 you can use "back to black" the stuff you use to recolour black plastic bumpers on your car. |

I was thinking about this last night as my amiga is starting to yellow a little. But how about the keys I couldnt stand a nice paint job ruined by the unpainted keys.
How easy is it to colour the keys ? and where in the UK can i buy transfers for KB keys that are non black. Also any sugestions for colouring the AMIGA logo on a A600. I facied a Black A600, charcoal keys with white key markings and a Deep red or GameCube purple Amiga logo? Last edited by Dr.Doom; 22 November 2002 at 13:30. |

M8 i was reading what you said about the 300watt psu! did you put the guts of it inside a standard a500 power brick case? or did you adapt one of the old goliath supplys? |

I built it all into a standard a500 supply case, the fan keeps it nice and cool.
Its not perfect by a long shot, my soldering iron packed in so all the wires are held with big plastic connecting blocks, but it works great |

M8 I would love to see it! Ive always adapted old AT supplys by soldering the amiga's power lead onto on the circuit board! if its inside an AT case it looks good
