Nothing wrong with asking!
Gameplay-wise it will be a mix of Chaos Engine and Gods with a touch of Alien Breed thrown in. Explore the maps to get treasure to help you buy stuff to beat baddies and get you to the end of the game bad-guy. There's a story too (I am not revealing any of that yet) It will be a simple game really, but not exactly easy. |

Looks sweet. Please consider a CD version for Aga machines. Tales of gorluth reached 150 pre-orders I believe and this looks better than Gotluth imo.
I'll buy a copy if you do so. Amigakit will surely stock the game as they did with Tales of gorluth. |

It's something I'm not focused on right now though, I think a nice demo showing off the gameplay basics is a thing to do first, after that we'll see what the options are and post them here. It's a lovely thing to read though, such positivity regarding the project. I just wish I didn't have to go to my day job so I could work on this full time |

Looks sweet
oooh thanks for the tiles editing youtube btw! The music in the background was a module I had on a disk back in early 90s and I forgot the name of the module. Briliant track imho. |

Looking good. Whats with that room full of keys? It looks nightmarish to have to pick up that many keys... (Guess its just a demo thing)
Also I think its absolutely fine to release a physical copy via pre-orders and then sometime later make the adf freely available. I think a physical copy excites the shit out of people and is more desirable. Depending on the quality of the finished product 10 to 15 euros does not seem an unreasonable sum to pay. |

I was saying earlier i love the death animations they look pretty cool! As is the main character anims, its all pretty polished tbh and can only improve with each update.
Certainly 2016 is looking very bright for Amiga games! |

Keep up the great work LordNipple and Co
Would be keen to know what your machine setup is using Dpaint and or other tools. Hope you blog more about the making of the game. |

Thankyou all so much for the feedback! The scrolling is something to see for sure. It's silky smooth.
I have started a page on my website for it, it's very rough but there's a FAQ section there that you can read over for any answrs you need. I will be adding to the page as often as time allows, with videos, screenshots, w.i.p graphics and general bits and pieces for those hungry for more information http://wayneashworthart.com/scourge%...underkind.html Last edited by CaptainNow; 24 February 2016 at 19:04. You're mentioned on http://www.indieretronews.com/2016/0...me-engine.html
and on The Retro Hour (Episode 8, 28 minutes in) as well. Congrats! |

I am not kidding when I say this made my day! Magnus (the programmer) told me about this earlier today. Deeply flattered! I am aiming for the sweet spot of something between Gods and Chaos engine graphically and it appears I am getting it just about right! Wow...so glad these guys liked it! |

I have started a more detailed blog detailing the graphic work for this game. You can join us on our exciting quest to create something visually interesting and hopefully worth playing.

I have never worked in 16 colours before, always 32 so it's been a challenge for me to get used to it but it's a completely new discipline compared to 32 colours. Very satisfying when good results are achieved! Thanks for the feedback! |
