I added this option and tested it. You will be able to enable it from the WicherCD32 settings management program.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of resources in the CPLD, I will have to give up the MAPROM function.

Can a more costly deluxe version with bigger CPLD be made?

Think there are some FPGA accelerators in the works for the CD32.

I saw this article in the French website : AmigaFrance.com in march 2017 :
Terrible Fire 530 Revision 2
Quote:
Terrible Fire 560 - The logical next?

A version based on Motorola 68060 would seem to be the obvious result of this crazy project. But let's already finish it (or rather start) this version 68040 which is already announced as one of the most powerful physics-based 680 × 0 cards ever designed for Amiga 500 and 500+. He also plans to create a Terrible Fire 32BRK for the CD32 console that is not a processor card but a card that provides video ports DB15, DB9 joystick and RS232 series. An adaptation of the Terrible Fire 530 card for CD32 is also under study. We just have to be patient to see if all these projects will succeed; Which should logically happen because of the work already done.
the size look similar to the TF328, it will be a dream to to see it
but every Amiga have his accelerator car and cause less CD32 were sold and condo problems, we no have one, keeping hope , same the tf328, many owner of the CD32 would buy it !

Maybe I’ll do a weekend design marathon for another CD32 card.

I have a 328 but I worry one day the memory chips will fail and whole unit would become unusable, is that right? But with Witcher I could find new memory SIM?

That’s pretty paranoid.

After many optimizations everything fits.
Below is a functioning MAPROM function and a small hack for the SIMM72 60ns (operate at full speed).
MAPROM improves system and IDE performance (~300kB/s)

Maprom on CD32! wow great work!
I also have the above question about this unit fitting properly inside the case with the SIMM popping up like that. Could you confirm?

And what risers are supported? I suppose all risers that also work with TF328.
