It's definitely a non-working Eurochart 25...- idoru
* Official Eurochart, The - Issue 25 (1994-05)(Static Bytes)(AGA)(Disk 1 of 2)[b] I downloaded this one from http://www.delamelon.com/home.htm (click "files"), it's called "How 2 scan a kid". I don't think it's supposed to be a disk for the full Eurochart issue. Last edited by [idoru]; 08 April 2006 at 13:11. |

I've been working through the games dat and the following are empty disk images or just contain a bootblock and little else!
Here we go.. these need removing from the dats (Check the zipped filesize): Bard's Tale, The - Tales of the Unknown (1986)(Electronic Arts)(Disk 2 of 2)(Character) Ambermoon (1994)(Thalion)(Disk 10 of 10)(J) Ambermoon (1993)(Thalion)(De)(Disk 10 of 10)(J) Chaos Engine, The (1993)(Renegade)(Disk 2 of 2) Dragon's Lair - Escape from Singe's Castle (1990)(ReadySoft)(Disk 4 of 5)[cr QTX][h New Order] The following seem to just contain the cracktro.. so err obviously wont work! Commando (1989)(Elite)[cr QTX][b] Champion Driver (1991)(Idea)[cr QTX] There are literally a tonne of these.. I'm currently busy rebuilding so err... I'll post more when I have more time |

Agreed, it should be renamed
Just checked my .adf files... (Disk 10 of 10)(J) is a save disk. A while ago I downloaded Ambermoon (1994)(Thalion)(Disk 10 of 10)(J) from BTTR (in the save disk section I think) that had the "Final End Fight" on it. Actually where's alexh. I'm sure he can confirm |

I can confirm that all Ambermoon (1993)(Thalion)(De)(Disk 10 of 10)(J)
are savedisks, some [a]'s have already the right [a savegame], some not. For Bard's Tale, The - Tales of the Unknown (1986)(Electronic Arts)(Disk 2 of 2)(Character).adf it's the same. And you can add the 9 (!) adf's Bard's Tale II, The - The Destiny Knight (1988)(Electronic Arts)(Disk 2 of 2)(Character Disk).adf to the list. For Ambermoon i know that the savedisk can be created by the game, for Bard's Tale I and II i'm not sure but i'll check that out if no one knows that and post here... |

I'm thinking there should maybe be a separate DAT for savedisks or they should be included within the : Commodore Amiga - Games - Unofficial Addons & Patches Dat

* For both Bard's Tale I and II HOL says:
"Although the game comes with 1 disk, the game instructs you to create a second disk for the characters." * Ambermoon comes on 9 disks so the #10 is obsolete --> i vote for a savedisk dat. I can remember BTTR had a lot of savedisks, so i think it's a good idea to have them in a separate Dat. Was anybody wise enough to leech all the savedisks from them??? I agree with a savedisks dat, but only for use with games that make their own when first saved or instruct you to do so in the instructions. Games that came with a savedisk included should keep that savedisk in the Games dat. - idoru Last edited by [idoru]; 08 April 2006 at 13:20. |
