agree
also the 16 pages manual would be great to find, if some other things can be enabled/disabled how to reset when the game is running etc |

it was wrongly called 64 emulator II, but in reality is the first version easy to spot, the menu is different between the two emulator versions : V1 V2 Last edited by kremiso; 10 January 2024 at 16:47. |

Is there a working crack of V2.0 avail? The unit A one hangs when I try to load a program or do a directory. Tried to write the IPF to disk and it doesn't work.

Hi guys, happy new year!
It's a very pleasant surprise to see that there's still interest in such old and obsolete pieces of software for the Amiga. i thought I was the only one remaining in the whole universe interested in such things... Well, a bit off-topic (not absolutely), but have a look here: https://www.sendspace.com/file/wepnsw There is a good selection of emulators running on plain 68000 OCS/ECS Amigas, a damn lot of work has been put in there by me, in order to collect, fix and correctly arrange all these... There's also plenty of C64 software (independent .PRGs but some multiloading stuff, as well), even a little lot of ZX Spectrum BASIC game packs compiled by me, that can run on Whitby's Spectrum Simulator for the real C64. All of them run well on A64, so here's a good chance for you to make any further tests and see if these can also run on Readysoft's 64 and 64 II emulators! I am sure you'll LOVE it, you can consider it as a new year's gift from the greek Santa!!! Read ALL instructions very carefully, they might seem a bit complex at first but definitely worth your time, as little details ignored might give non-properly working results. Everything included has been tested and IS working! Start directly from withing the main unzipped folder, I have made the whole collection completely portable/installation independent! N.B. that I have set WinUAE speed to maximum for better performance on windoze emulated Amiga, but they will all surely work on real 68000 hardware, of course considerably slower... Enjoy!!! |

doing some modifies, i have reached to make start the c64 files loading, but im not sure if was a 100% crack; compared to the v1, many games make crash in guru the Amiga at the end of loading or its due to my changes --- about the ipf i dont know just note that the v1 has a triple mandatory requirement : 68000 - ocs- kickstart1.2/1.3 it doesnt work on anything better than this the v2 loads also with 68010, but also requires ocs and kick1.x EDIT i have an Action Replay freeze, that seems to work on ecs and 1MB Chip Last edited by kremiso; 13 January 2024 at 10:25. |

I remember seeing this Emulator in the Amiga magazines in the late 80's! I was pretty excited, then later I got a hold of a copy to try and played around with it on my Amiga 1000! Was pretty dissapointed in the performance, but also amazed that it was running. It seemed like it was running like 50% speed, and some games did not run too well, and others ran okay. Years later I discovered MagiC64 Emulator and been using it on my 060 and Vampire Amigas at 100% speed and excellent compatibility! But looking back at the Readysoft The 64 Emulator 2, it brings back some very fond memories! Would be nice to get a proper working V2.0 ADF to use on real hardware, the IPS does seem to work okay on WinUAE (and yes enabling the speed up works well!)

Uploaded The 64 Emulator 2 raw stream to the zone. 5 revs. In WinUAE it seems to stop @ T15.
