Just came back home after a busy day...
...and a surprise was awaiting me

File downloaded, file copied to my interlaced WB. Clicked on the game icon... ...and... ...WORKING, the game now loads from an interlaced WB screen ! The white arrow cursor changes into a floppy-disk, the protection check is displayed

Thank you ross !!!

It's like a warm and fresh baked bread whose smell invites you to taste it ! Will play right now !

@Damien:
As only the forum's "gods" can change thread titles : Since the issue has been fixed, would you mind changing the 'sad' smiley of this thread to a 'smile' smiley ?
Thanks in advance my friend

Sorry, been very busy today with my project so only just read your post.

...not sure I quite follow what it is you're asking me to do though.

There is no "sad smiley" in the thread title?

Use "today's posts" or "support.Games" to get a thread list. You will see there is "unhappy" smiley at the left of the thread title.

If of any interest, I recently discovered a free variant for screen recording : OBS Project. A powerful and nice program .

Thank you malko, I know OBS Project, there are also updated versions of HyCam (commercial) but I still prefer the old HyCam2, small fast, easy to use and stand-alone.

I understand you. No need to change a winning team

Now in the zone the cracked French release containing the fix kindly made available by Ross .

PS: If you use it on REAL Amiga and don't like the flickering WB interlaced screen, which last at most 15 seconds, just delete the "devs" folder

Digging in the cellar, I found the original copy of "Future Wars" I bought back in the day. It is a special edition including an Audio CD that contains the game's music.
For preservation purposes, the image of the Audio CD is available under ~Uploads/malko/ as a 7z file (scans of the game box and the CD included).

Neither can I. Have asked HOL's team members about it.
Thanks for seeing it Damien

Good this new CD with audio tracks. If there is a way to use audio tracks with Amiga vesion will be very great.

It's really annoying when you totally change / edit your original posts Seiya

...luckily I can still see them.

So, out of interest, how did you correct this issue that you were having?

No, but there I was thinking about how to assist you... come back an hour afterwards and your post is totally gone...

Besides, others may experience what you have so a solution would also help them.

So, where's the problem with leaving it there and then saying; fixed by doing xyz?

You must admit, you do edit / delete posts all the time in numerous threads and it makes reading very difficult indeed for others to follow...

Also, just to quote something from EAB rules:

Quote:
Once a user has either created a thread, or posted within a thread on the EAB Forums, regardless of when or how long ago, and the thread/post came to be removed through unforeseen circumstances/attacks/sabotage, or has either been edited beyond its original understanding, or has simply been deleted by the user, the EAB staff have the right to either restore it, restore it to a previous edit, restore it via Google cache or restore it via any other means possible. The thread/post is part of the EAB forum community, and although it may be your thread/post, EAB reserves the right to delete, re-edit or restore any thread/post we deem fit for the purposes of normal forum rules and the security of the EAB forums.
