Thank you! With regards to rework: No problem, I can to both 040->060 and PPC upgrade as well. I have MC68060RC50 with mask 71E41J (rev6), no problem. And I have 64MB 50ns RAM module as well (proven to work at 80MHz). Sending PM. |

hello, if you refer to the 64MB 72pinn module that was on the Viper 1260, from the A1200 into 500 project, I bought it directly from Vesalia, where I bought the board, since the Viper needed only FPM modules and, at the time, I had only a 4MB FPM module

Hi all,
Just got my BPPC back from Stachu100. It is now a 330mhz and 60mhz 603e and 68060 monster! Here is my first benchmark shot! The a3000 in column three is a CPPC 604 @ 200mhz and a 68060 @ 60mhz. The 603e is almost twice as fast as my 180mhz shot below! Stachu100 has proven to be a great bloke, his communication and service were top notch! Last edited by DDNI; 12 May 2010 at 16:19. |

@DDNI: So it feels so much better now, are we going to get some new video's of it in action.
Whats it like under MorphOS, or Classic 4.0? I wonder if I should inquire about it for my PPC board... hmm. |

Hmm, how difficult would it be to upgrade a CSPPC with 040/25 to a 060-version?

AFAIK not at all
CSPPC+BPPC were designed for 040s and 060s so the voltage changing is really easy (without need of external regulator like the Apollos). It depends on the firmware and if 040 is soldered to the board (without socket) so then it requires some pro solder skills |

1) Install 060 libraries first 2) Pull CSPPC from Amiga 3) Pull 040 CPU 4) Re-solder 2 SMD jumpers (in some cases 3 jumpers + soldering new oscillator for 060 depending on oscillators configuration) 5) Install 060 CPU 6) Plug into Amiga 7) Oprionally you can flash the card with latest firmware taken from here http://phase5.a1k.org/ You are done! Upgrading 604e is much more difficult. |

Ah, thanks guys. Sounds easy enough to perform then. Looks like I shall have to look for a 060 CPU then and get my soldering gear ready
