I also bought a 26" multisystem LCD TV so i could get the benefit of true NTSC and Pal games, theres nothing more annoying than either stretching or missing part of the game screen or the game playing in turbo mode due to wrong video settings. Multi system TV's are great, and the RGB/Svideo mod makes for a really crisp bright picture.

there are some games that when played in NTSC mode will run faster than in PAL mode. Its definately a plus having Pal equipment as there is more native games available.

That is a great example and I think we all understand what you are getting at. Yeah, it is annoying that the bottom of the screen is empty like that. Blame the coders for not using all of the screen real estate. What would be ideal is to have the actual NTSC version of the game in that case.
I don't want speed ups and sound issues. Try playing Cannon Fodder in NTSC... The intro music all messed up... |
