And Bubble Bobble for about 2 hours (sheesh - I never realised how annoying the music can get - I always loved it before!)

I see you found those photo's before me Cody... I also found one of me going under the stall (food - must be) and one of 1 inch of our stall. Hmm... Not very in sight just there were we!

So, I think we need to have a joint CAPS/HOL/APoV stand this time.

Better planned, more free CDs (with APoV issues on them), more multiplayer Amiga games...

fiath, Buzz and Cody were there last time; who will join us this year?

Bastard! (wooops, sorry for that! )
I borrowed it, boxed and all, from a friend back in the days... I fell in love with it but he (my friend) never let me rebuy it from him! Waaaaaaaahh!!!

It was near King's Cross station last time, but it may be somewhere else this year.

I haven't actually heard anything about this year's show, but I assume it'll be on.

Well for people to experience the true Amiga spirit you should have the following:

Xenon2--->They will shit their pants when the 'll hear the music and see the end-of-level bosses...

Kick Off 2-> Well I suppose you expected to hear that from me but let's have tha grandpa there...

Worms DC-> A true classic...

OnEscape-> Put this on screen and people will experience pure computer art!

SOTB-----> Classic

Turrican 2-> Well, no need to say anything here. Respect.

Body Blows -> I think we need to have that. An Amiga specifc beat em up.

Super Skidmarks---> Multiplayer mayhem...

Xtreme Racing--> Another one for multiplayer fans...

Hmmm, it looks like there will be no similar Extreme Computing Show this summer:

http://www.xcom2002.com/

Quote:
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION:

Q: Will there be another Extreme Computing event this summer (2003)?

A: Probably not. There's a number of reasons for this - we were hanging on to see what happened with a (rumoured) big retro games event in Brighton, and an (even more rumoured) return of the Access All Areas computer security conference, but at time of writing (May 1st, 2003) neither have materialised yet. Consequently, we haven't made many plans of our own about having another event like last year's during the summer period.

That said, there's a chance we might get involved with a smaller event (like the Haddocks' Take It Outside) if we can get a few interesting speakers together, plus there's a fair chance we'll organise a larger Extreme Computing-style event towards the end of the year, probably in the run-up to Christmas.

The best place for the news on either of these will be NTK, which is a weekly email newsletter which you can subscribe to, and then angrily delete it if it wasn't what you'd hoped for.

Thanks for taking an interest!
Dave
