Depends on the case. If you take off the card back panel retainers then they will fit.

Looks more like crap design.

This is all marketing smoke and mirrors; it means absolutely Jack $h!t until the hardware hits the shelves in your local town... are Amigaworld really short-stroking like mad about a motherboard, that appears to be little more than a pre-production unit?

Sheesh....

I'm intrigued. And slightly hopeful. Certainly seems more real than natami...

I am massively enjoying the reveal.

Unlike many on EAB, I will make my judgment about the whole package when all is known...

someone mentioned the differently placed/mounted memory sockets (might be a optical mismatch - but ...) - so one part for the mainstream and the second for the new AmigaOS/Custom-Chip part? ( http://a-eon.com/gfx/tease.jpg )
and there was something about an "apple way" - the possibility of an intel/amd based cpu - since Rogue at amigaworld.net only says "CPU" ?

DDNI's right. That riddle is amusing. Time will tell if that is enough to make me actually pay anything.

@hit: I think it is already clear that it is going to be PowerPC.

was in the fourth hint. Oh, btw.

oh, hmm, ok. too much information (adding some new ...) - if so, pitty a bit, since windows-people buying apple computer lately, coz its special and compatible with their beloved windows - would have been an option for hyperion too.

Lets just wait and see what happens. the first puzzle pieces were fun imho but i dont want 30 or 40 puzzle pieces because eventually it gets boring. hopefully within a few days we know what it is.

Yeah, right. But then, you need a really cool FPGA and really cool ip cores to do that, which is dreamt of in that posting.

you are right, unfortunatly. those online converters wont do the trick on its own. but i guess X.X. is already involved, so there is best-aga-compatibility right from the start

Edit #2: AmigaBlitter @ aw.net found this

The fact the Xilinx FPGA is a QFP type almost certainly means that it is a very small, very old / cheap one.

Cannot quite make out the version.

I see that some of the old Commodore traits still remain, then.......

Well, it's 12.13 and the trolls are getting restless on other sites; I wonder if the person that was supposed to update the web site is snowed in at home? The irony of the situation wouldn't be lost on me....

Two more weeks, anyone....??
