I fixed some massive graphics corruption in the game that I noticed in AmigaBills's stream. It happened due to an overflow in the animation system when the system time was set correctly. The bug exists in the original game too, but normally it won't happen unless you let the game running for days without restarting it. I also fixed another small memory leak.
If you had any graphical glitches make sure to grab the latest version from the first post.

Since the source code is nowhere in sight I decided to cobble together a replacement for BarToZip. Fortunately I was able to find a QCELP decoder and enough information on the various formats involved (BAR, CMF, QCP, etc.) to extract and repackage the data. I was finally able to remove the game data from my site, you can grab doomrpg.bar instead from archive.org. I updated the information in the first post.

edit: I also published the source code.

The video option menu was all kind of broken, because I tried to trim it down but forgot to adjust the actual logic, this is now fixed. I also implemented the transparent background from DoomRPG-RE for the Input binding menu. I've seen some confusion regarding how to remap the controls so I plan to make a proper writeup on it for the readme. It's actually really simple, but can be a bit counter-intuitive due to abbreviated on-screen prompts.

It's difficult to say without any details on your setup.

Here are all my dirty secrets

Running it on emulator, WinUAE 5.3.0. Settings on attached picture (something might be awfully wrong, I am hardly a hardware expert). Running AmigaOS 3.2.2.1

Thanks, do you have any graphics card enabled in the RTG board section?

That's the problem, without a graphics card you can't go higher than 160x128 for reasons explained in the readme. I have to improve the documentation to be more clear on this.
Anyway, I usually go with "UAE" board and Picasso96 2.0 which is available for free.

Hot damn, this makes me so happy again. Doom RPG was one of THE games I played on my cellphone in 2007/2008 constantly (alongside Namco's fantastic ports of Pac-Mania and Nintendo's "Popeye" arcade game of all things.. racked up some data charges spending in-game tokens for the comic strips). Almost got my late friend's A1200 up and running, and I can easily see myself just losing hours upon hours playing this all over again start to finish.
