@Burseg : you know, you must wait for the cleaned part be dry before switching on the drive
![]() You don't need that if you used an electronic washing fluid. More info about the smd : pressing on the detection pin make the drive spinnig, but only during the hardware boot sequence (Amiga choosing the boot device). It doesn't work during the autotest, nor during the software boot sequence.... ![]() |

Well, there is a tiny but important difference with FZ-357 drives
![]() The FZ-357 is a PC 1.44 drive, but can be jumpered for Amiga as DD drive. The FZ-357A on the other hand is an Amiga HD drive with 1.76MB ! I don't know if it can also be used for PC, but probably not since it spins only at half the speed of a PC drive. @SMD380: Yes, you have to jumper the R & white. |

Sorry, but the smd refuse to work.
Well, it's only the disk detection that fails. I think i'll use it with the diskchange command until i find an Amiga-100%-compatible drive. |
