Back to topic: that little mouse is just super cute, is Minkey his name? Something between Mickey and monkey? |

To be honest, the mouse is in reality a monkey, that's why the name minkey. It can also collect and throw bananas to enemies, not cheese. :-) But I know that 99% will identify it as a mouse, me too hehe. |

Awesome work here buddy. Don't forget to send me a playtest copy (;-)
Is that a real 8 way scrolling routine or are you just holding all the map data in memory as a bitmap and scrolling around it (i.e. Does it blit in the tiles when needed?) |

It blits the tiles in X direction when needed, so the width of an level can be really huge. Vertically there is a maximum of 4 screens at the moment. I spent some hours of trying a full 8 way scrolling a year ago but always got stuck with some nasty bugs, perhaps I will give it another shot soon. Otherwise I am quite happy with the routine as it is now because it works flawlessy with a lot of objects on screen, more than I thought I could handle. :-) PS: Didn't I already send you a playtest copy some weeks ago? |

Do you really think game developers who have put many days / weeks / months into creating a cool game are going to read your lame, constant request and go: Oh yeah, why didn't I think of that! Let me spend another few months coding a "Level Editor" just for xboxown. |

Don't care if they do. I did the request and that all matters to me. Whether it is heard or not...it is irrelevant. Call me all sorts of names, I don't care. Bully me or make it toxic for me here...don't care. Shame me and demean me. Don't care. Make me look silly or be aggressive at me. Don't care I am going to keep asking and you are going to keep commenting As for not stressing you out, explain why your nose growing bigger then

I'm fine with xboxown's request for a level editor in every new game thread, as long as he specifies it needs to have features which take advantage of the Vampire
Anyway, back on topic please. |

Hi, here is another video preview to show further improvements...
The music is a placeholder (from 4mat in this case) - just for testing. [ Show youtube player ] I'll keep you informed here, hope this gets finished this year. :-) |

Since the first preview I felt some "dangerous" vibes, wich are now more pronounced and I really like it!

That 4mat tune is really nice! Nice graphics and animations as well, and graphic design in general really. I'm hoping for some great level design to round out the package
