One of the screenshots is my map editor which I have spent most of my time on.
Nice to see the shooter coming along my good man and yes, you do need something thing to keep your old brain-box from melting (which why I started Amiga coding last year). Bedroom coding on the PC is a waste of time though (IMHO) because there is so much quality software to choose from your hard work probably won't get noticed, better to target the retro market where you will be loved and cherished for all eternity (or a couple of weeks, whichever comes sooner).

As to your question Viddi, yes a new shooter is always good fun. If you make it, I would be interested in buying it

Nope, not yet. Could you upload the latest version, please?

BTW, Halloween Nightmare is a Backbone game.
It´s brilliant and I hope it´ll get finished someday.

If you think you got the skills, join an european demogroup. Just as I did. That's your "magical dimension"
I guess that you, as me, are cursed by geographical location. NOTHING Amiga related happens in Argentina, and even if you guys have some more activity, it's probably still very low.

Demoscene activity will let you meet people up for the task of producing something together all teh way through to completion.

please let us know where all these team effort Amiga games have been uploaded so we can play them!
It's not all about games, I have to say. But if anything was done one thing leads to the other.

Maybe a thread where people could sign up, if they'd like to be a part of producing something, be it a game or demo or whatever? The EAB job center ?

Not bad so far.

BTW, could it be that "Tales from heaven" was the last demo scene based game which hit the Amiga?

That game has some appalling design issues :/ Doesn't look good at all.
It's like a sort-of-game put inside a load of demoeffects.

I think Wank Games was the last demoscene game that came out, either last year or earlier this year.

Wank Games

(No, I have no idea. Might even be likely it's more playable than that Mario64 thingy game.)

On a serious note, I'd love to see people making Amiga games again and making money off Amiga games again. Very much.

But I think anyone making games needs to think about finishing the game and making it good before thinking about selling it.

Come on, it's FUN making games! (Says I, who haven't finished any of my games, not really anyway.) But it IS fun just making them. So if you can reach a point where it's okay and fun just making the game, you'll have fun regardless of whether it's finished or whether you can sell it. I'd recommend it to anyone

If you want to know if people will pay for it before it's finished or even before it's started, it will never happen.
