Hi,

A new version (0.6.1) is available with level 6 playable.

Don't forget to download the level 6 remix and put it into the "Musics" folder of the game.

At last, I am pleased to release the 0.9.1 version of Blazing Wings. This version now allows playing the seven Wings of Death levels.

Don't forget downloading extra musics (level 7 remix and Wings of Death extro) and place them into the "Musics" folder of Blazing Wings.

To be continue : the 1.0 version with one extra level at the end where you will have to fight Xandrilia !!

Controls :
Arrows and Space bar to shoot.
F4 for full screen.

File Size: 6.00 Mo without musics (eight MP3 for 46.4 Mb) (stored in a folder)
GM Version: GM6.1
Screen Resolution: 640 x 480 for the title screen and 576 x 400 for the game screen

I have already built the background with new tiles, I have some new monsters, a new boss (a minion of Xandrilia).
Only Xandrilia is missing...

No, for the moment, the default music is the level 5 music...

What's new in this release :

- New level 8 playable in 60 FPS (all GFX based on Daniel BUEHLER work).
- New level 8 music by Nils FESKE.
- New title screen (GFX based on Daniel BUEHLER work).
- New menu screen with highscores table.
- The game can now be paused with "P".
- Levels 1 to 7 playable in 40 FPS instead of 20 FPS.
- The energy bar becomes a damage bar like in Wings of Death.
- Original extro included (Thanks to Gerald MÜLLER-BRUHNKE).
- "Lives sprite display bug" fixed.
- When you lose a life you keep your weapon (at last!).
- "Thunder Blades" weapon given up and replaced by the original "Thunder Balls" weapon.
- Level 6 boss head bobbing out and neck improved.
- Now sprites flash when hit.
- joystick support added (known bug on menu screen, use space bar to go to stage select screen).

If no important bug is found, it should be the last release of Blazing Wings so enjoy the game and thanks for all your support !

Edit: USB joysticks/pads are supported? My Saturn USB pad doesn't work.
Edit2: Strange, a Logitech Dual Action pad works fine.

I just included a standard joystick support... I can't test them all.

This is the 1.1.1 version. This update only works with the 1.1.0 version and fixes the following bugs :

- Level 5 in 40 FPS instead of 20 FPS
- Level 5 boss bug fixed
