How 'bout X68000 versions?
That PSX game must suck arse because all animation frames have been taken away. Even if it adds Fei Long, its still inferior |

Conversions
Okay, I've added changed Super C, Castlevania, Mutant Ninja Turtles (top-down and sewers one) to NES in my database.
Space Harrier 2 and Strider 2 - does anyone know what these originated on, if not the arcades? Batman Returns, Battletoads, Darius+ and Outrun Europa - I'm still investigating. |

For the most dissapointing Amiga Arcade Conversion-Ghouls 'n' Ghost's. Apart from the great Follin music a complete waste of time.
I agree that compared to the arcade version Final Fight wasn't that good, but it was still quite playable. Besides, at least the original cheat mode from the programmer was a little different to most! I've never played the Amiga version ,but I recall Mortal Kombat recieved good reviews-what's the real verdict-was it? |

Battletoads Arcade's copyright is 1994, Battletoads NES is 1991. (again, nicked from vgmuseum.com ) Darius + is completely different to the arcade, I mean it! just look at your pics |

NES
Battletoads - you're right, it's NES.
Now, just another need to work out the original platform for another 2,000 Amiga games! |

Arcade Conversions
I forgot Action Fighter and Hot Rod. They've been added to the arcade conversions list.

Simpsons the arcade game
Question: Does anyone know whether The Simpsons: the Arcade game from Konami is released on Amiga? To my surprise I have discovered a great 1992 C64 conversion of this game by Konami (see picture):
Here is a pic from the arcades: |

To the best of my knowledge, the arcade version was only ported to PC

Did that Playchoice machine also have Excite Bike?
Or was there an actual Excite Bike machine? I asked this on a board ages ago, but I was told only that it came in a multi-machine doofur. I'm sure I played a standalone single game machine though. |

Although not necessarily my all time fave game, I found Super Hang On a good conversion-the programmer ZZkJ managed a couple of decent arcade conversions,I think?

Believe it or not, they filmed me playing Super Hang On (at the PCW Show Earl's Court - 1987 I think) so that the home conversions were as correct as possible.
The problem was that I could never finish the senior level, though I could do the expert one. So the game people just made up the rest. The company was Electric Dreams, which I remember because they had "Electric Dreams" by Hall and Oates playing on a constant loop on their stand! Shit, I remembered that tune.. It'll be kicking about my head for days now!:kill :kill |

About ZZKJ, I havent seen a decent arcade conversion from him, really. Probe always said he was the slickest programmer and all that, but Super Hang On and Outrun blow. Severely. Any other games coded by him, that might put his image a bit higher? |

Parasol Stars
This page seems to think that there was an arcade version of Parasol Stars, under Available Formats.

I haven't personally played it to know if it's any good, but I believe he did Super Manaco GP for Amiga Akira,I think Zzap gave it 80-something percent overall,I'll need to find it to be sure.

I liked Amiga's Super Hang-on ..
But Super Monaco GP isn't too good, I prefer the C64 version... (Of course, the Mega-Drive version is better than those other 2) |

I think both the KLOV and that site are wrong. As Shatterhand says I dont think Parasol Stars made it onto the arcades. This was even mentioned in an Amiga Power mag, if I am not wrong!
Show me a PArasol Stars arcade machine and I'll eat it, though |

I think Bubble Bobble was the best. (personally)
I'm pretty miffed nobody did a Terra Cresta conversion for the Amiga, it was one of my favourite arcade games. |
