ah indeed
then there are the hybrid titles to consider, like Lost Patrol
90% it does require mouse, yet on two (iirc) sequences the joystick is mandatory, vietcong lone fight and minefield

Red Zone (Psygnosis) is another one, you can play also with joystick, but the swap is hide deep in options;
in reality using joystick it plays much worse imo
