I don't see why it ultimately can't be available for the CD32, with a redesign of the connection to the expansion port, the price point of this will be higher so ultimately it will give people options for just how high and how much money they want to spend and can afford on their Amigas. Compatibility for existing games for me is still key and also the availability timeline, it's now been 2 years since Zeus has been touted and it has still not been released, i think now that it may go the way of vapourware as something that will be more faster with more options is now becoming available. |

Yeah, the Zeus does seem to be fading away. Hopefully this one will be out soon.

I would love to see combination of this card and kipper's CD32 adapter. Due the edge connection it could be easily made and cheap (over A1200 connector).

Well, you can count me in for one of these for my A2000. And probably a A1200 one too if they come out.

Sounds cool. I want one.
How incompatible would it be, though? Does it emulate an 060 or a 000? |

Sounds great. Please break my long term scepticism in such projects, finish it, produce it, support it. I have at least 4 Amigas waiting for it.

At the risk of sounding like a sheep (baa!), you can put me down for an A1200 board as and when one becomes available. Is it ready yet?? Is it???

Neither. It's not an emulator of a 68k CPU but a new 68k like processor. Apollo supports most of the integer 68020+ instructions and addressing modes (Phoenix in the Vampire 600 did not have room). From the last I heard, it's missing some rare (on the Amiga) 68020+ integer instructions, it only supports 68000 stack frames and it does *not* have a 68k compatible MMU or an FPU. Of course all this could change in an fpga. |

hope not. operating systems and libraries have been invented exactly in order to avoid each and every application reinventing everything from the start. we have versions-hell on amiga already enough. please dont encourage it even more. having proper p96 standard driver is the way to go.

I don't see the reason to have a lightning fast 000, most modern demoscene activity is around the 060. |
