Sorry, older thread, but I did not want to make a new one, as this one fits.

I just found out by pure luck yesterday that there is another, still active port of DevilutionX for the Amiga (and other systems):
https://github.com/diasurgical/devilutionX/releases

This gets constant updates and bug fixes, last release is from September, 1st.

Have not yet compared it to the old one from Arti, but will do later.

I tested this with my 68060 / 80MHz machine. The good news is it starts, but after several minutes of waiting. It should show some animations, but they are not visible; the screen is black, but I can hear some voices. After that, the game's start screen appears. Starting a new game takes a few minutes. The game itself is unplayably slow. Moving the mouse cursor to the desired place is impossible; it just jumps to a different place. Left-click there, and the game character starts to move to that place. Moving the right foot one step ahead takes about 5 seconds.

That is to be expected. Like the port by Arti, anything below a Vampire2 does not have the performance to run Diablo on the Amiga.

cool the latest DevilutionX on github (v1.5.2) gives us a stash ! Finally I can clean up all that loot all over the floor
