PiStorm32 Lite arrived to limited number of developers few days ago, not 1.5 months. Regarding classic PiStorm - on Emu68 there is at the moment support for ComputeModule 4 (CM4) which is basically a RasPi4. I am using CM4 with my PiStorm in A600 machine at the moment. On Pi4 there is still something blocking the boot process and I will look at it as soon as I have time for it.

Why no support yet? Because real life, because there are many other things to do first, because not so many people can or will contribute to the source code base of the project, plus many many more "baucase". For some people, like you, Pi4 is the highest priority, for others VC4 video driver, stability improvements or WiFi are more important. How to satisfy all this people and their priorities at once? Hard, isn't it?

But, there is still a room for improvement. Both Hardware and Software are open source and everyone is invited to join and contribute.

You most likely misunderstood what I was talking about. As I clearly indicated:

I'm not casting blame or anything. Just keeping perspective, especially when it comes to a topic with such title.

atm all get got and which is widely available to users is pistorm classic based on (mostly) pi3. And the base of that config is already in decline as going obs. I am well aware it's open project with development being done at the expense of free time. That's why I am not casting blame, just pointing out atm there's no Pi4 support nor should be in any near future.

Has anybody had any success with JLCPCB? Can't get past the BOM/CPL upload, I always get a timeout error.

Is that still the case? I have seen plenty of vids of WHDLoad games running. I guess that most floppy games will just crash and burn, but that also happens on a real 060

It's interesting to see how PiStorm has evolved since this thread started. With Emu68K I'd say all of the original performance arguments are now up for (re)debate.

Oh absolutely!

Got my boards delivered today, will hopefully check tomorrow (have to solder the A1200 trapdoor connector myself)

Finally managed to order! Bill of materials count is a bit higher than the example though, but I guess that's not gonna be a problem.

I think I'll have them by the end of next month, can't wait!
