Has to be Outrun, a major disappointment. I guess my expectations were too high at the time. Probe?

Agree with everything said about Outrun on the Amiga
![]() I also play Outrun on MAME32 and Outrun 2 on the Xbox. Outrun 2 is absolutely awesome, love the drifting feature ![]() |

Yesterday I tried the Amiga conversion of Capcom's 1943. Dismal. Pathetic. Despicable. Capcom should be embarrassed. But they probably didn't give a toss. Nor did the converters so long as at least 15 people got sucked into buying it. Given their obvious time investment in this garbage they probably would have made their money back - even with those sales.

I'm sure there were quite a lot of terrible games on the Amiga. There were simply so many of them. However, I didn't have that many games at all, and I was generally happy with most of them.
But not Days of Thunder. Oh, I hated that game. Every time I pulled it out of my diskbox I suffered an involuntary shudder at the thought of those joystick-wracking, unresponsive controls, the obvious gaps between screen updates anytime any scenery came up on the screen, and the thought that this was all in the irritating and dull qualifying round, which didn't even have any other cars on the track yet. |

I can think of plenty, here goes:
Last Action Hero, Total Carnage, Goldrunner, Test Match Cricket, Vigilante, Street Fighter 2, Cliffhanger, Pinball Mania, Pinball Hazard, Kick Off 2, Peter Beardsley's Football, Fears, Gauntlet 2, Championship Manager 2, Wild Cup Soccer, Crazy Cars 1 and 2..... I think that will do for now though. |
