A successful business can only be achieved by satisfying the customers needs!
Just sayin... |

Mr. Mounty,
Feedback: I think the device spoils the lines of the A500 and would be better developed in the style of a C64c SD2IEC perhaps? It looks a bit daft sat on top of the casing like that ![]() |

What about an external device that clamps onto the back of the Amiga 1200 using the IDE port, that would be awesome
As it is now, I don't know... Kinda looks like the Amiga has a giant growth |

It's a shame Monty couldn't just take feedback on board instead of taking it personally and acting childish. |

I was thinking perhaps he could use the external FDD connector on the back - there are modifications possible to have the external drive acting as DFO:....? It'd certainly be nicer and keep the aesthetics of the Amiga instead of having something stuck to the top of the case or in worst case scenario cutting the case! Plus the internal drive can be left alone...

This would be an ideal solution imo. A case that would fit neatly (in my case it would be A1200) inside the system but gives a better access via floppy drives like extended switches/display. Possibly sits partially outside of casing ![]() |

That really WAS fun. I didn't even know about it! I already did that, and have been selling them for quite a while now. Not to worry - old Mounty's got his thinking cap on again, I have a much better idea in the pipeline, watch this space.... Last edited by TCD; 26 September 2014 at 10:05.
