I read the other thread at the other place and she mentioned she is suffering from clinical depression, hopefully she'll realise she's been a bit dramatic.

All her posts can be recovered should she have a change of heart, but the most important thing is her health and well being, so i wish her all the best and hope she feels better soon.

Maybe this thread should be closed now to put the kybosh on any further speculation that might cause further upset.

We can recover the one's she didn't edit, unless RCK has backups, but yeah I see your point Ian. Public speculation isn't good without proper understanding of the circumstances, but when you leave in such a way it's hard not to comment as it affects everyone.

Regardless of the post deletion, I too wish her the best going on what you said as she's done a lot for the scene, and she would always be welcome back by everyone I'm sure.

I am in the process of trying to contact her through Facebook because it would be a HUGE loss if she truly was to leave for good

Bear in mind though that i will not divulge any personal information if she does so choose to with me as to why she has left out of due respect for which i would deem that as being the appropriate manner in which this handled.

The main and most important thing is that she comes back to EAB feeling happy & healthy

after reading the amiga.org retro game thread a few things come to mind
1 she is obsessed with the amiga
2 she wants ppl to respond positivity to everything she dose
3 she is impatient

4 sounds like most women I know apart from 1 that is

been a long time depression suffer myself but still don`t see that as an excuse for her actions

perhaps she could find the right prizes ? who knows

Don't forget she has a disability as well (she's deaf) and so whatever issues she is struggling with only add to that particular burden. Depression is hard work on top of a disability - I'm in that position myself. Lets not judge her too harshly eh?. After all we don't know her particular circumstances, how she feels, or why she feels the way she does.... I am no psychologist but would suggest that the Gaming comp is only the tip of the iceberg. Reading some of her posts elsewhere it is as if she feels marginalised and/or as if she is unwelcome/unwanted.... I'm not saying Depression is an excuse. But it does skew the way you think/percieve things.

I hope she's ok

I personally think this thread should be closed to avoid any further unnecessary speculation. Also people should stop trying to analyze her situation as it may make Cammy feel worse if she's reading this

We should just respect her decision to leave for whatever reason and leave it at that

Yes, I think enough has been said now. Whatever the rights and wrongs I don't think it's very respectful to discuss anybody's personal circumstances in this way. I would appreciate it if we left it and moved on.

Okay she replied me and she did not want to delete all her posts.
It seems someone else perform this action on a computer where Cammy forgot to logoff.
note: all her posts were deleted in a few seconds, so it was not human possible.

I will restore her posts as soon as possible, and she will be able to come back
