Not sure what the pack was.. but it had Rainbow islands and chase HQ. It's possible it was called Appetizer since there was some crap wright/paint program appetizer bundled as well.

I sold my A500 and bought the A1200 the minute it was released, and for me, it was just the bare bones system... it came with only manuals and workbench disks... but who cares!!! this was the next big Amiga, and thats all that mattered to me!. Last edited by blade002; 14 January 2006 at 18:32. |

My first Amiga was an A600 Lemmings pack with Lemmings / DP3 plus Silica's chaos pack which had Syndicate, Chaos Engine, Pinball Fantasies and Nick Faldo's Championship Golf.
Later on I bought an A1200 Magic Pack from Special Reserve where they also included about 20 other software titles. |

I had the A500+ Cartoon Classics pack, but my A1200 had no bundle with it as it was bought as soon as it was available.
With my A500+, it also came with another games bundle which had Karate Kid, Battle Squadren and quite a few others. Can anyone remember what that pack was called? I've been trying to remember for hours but i just can't think of it |

My first Amiga was a 2000, and there were a number or "Educator Packs" direct from Commodore (my Mom was a 1st grade teacher for 37 years). I bought the A2000 and a 1084DS as one of 3 packs. There was a 500 pack and a 3000 pack as well, but I couldn't afford the 3000 at the time!
I bought a 1200 Magic Pack second hand a couple years ago. |

I got the A1200 Race 'n' Chase pack. I kept the box and even the outer box it was delivered in. Its still in the same condition the day I got it back in November 1993!

Actually, at the time I bought my A500 and later the A1200, all they had was the plain computer with WB disks. So that's what I got both times.

Yeah, I got the Silica pack too, the missing one is Pinball Dreams. They also bundled it with Photon Paint 2 and GFA BASIC 3.0.

First amiga package you got from new
Just a little thread to see if anyone remembers their first/favourite amiga pack they bought from new.
My first memories of the amiga were when I borrowed a A600 from a friend who was selling it I had one game which was trolls which I got off a amiga magazine as a full game, I was amazed at how quick it loaded and how good the graphics were compared to my old c64 I had for years. Ended up going into the sales on boxing day in hitchens an ex catalouge shop where we decided to go the whole hog and my mum bought me a A1200 desktop dynamite pack, I was mega chuffed with it, it came with Deluxe paint, wordworth, dennis and oscar, the games were fairly lame compared to some of the best the amiga had to offer but I wasnt bothered, I had as far as I was concerned (and still am) the best computer ever to be made. Anyone else remember their first amiga purchase? |

Mate, this isnt about what bundles exist. I already KNOW what exists. It's about which one you had and having fun remembering the time you saved up / unwrapped it at xmas / stole it from WHSmith.
So what is it Galaxy huh? What was yours? Dont tell me.... you were an A600 Epic pack? |

I already responded to this poll earlier (A500 Starter for me was the only "Pack"; also got an A1200HD with software pack equivalent to Desktop Dynamite - but it was just in a bog standard A1200 box; and an A600HD - again no pack)
I posted the link cos there seemed to be a lot of packs missing from the poll ... and it might also jog some memories. |
