5.3.2005: Big news update
Catweasel MK4 now shipping Shipping of the Catweasel MK4 has started exactly one month ago. We have now filled all back-orders and want to say thank you for the trust and the patience that our customers have shown. The new delay was caused by the transition to a lead-free production process. We have now solved all problems that arose with this transition, and are now perfectly prepared for the new laws that become effective in 2006. MMMMMMMMMMMM, I still want one ! @Fiath, If some people here get ahold of the catweasel MK4, is there a chance for windows dumping tools to use the new card ? or am I dreaming again ? I guess the new cards specs are going to need to be learned by caps Last edited by whiteb; 06 March 2005 at 07:00. |

Latest FPGA-core (FPGA chip's "software") does not yet support MK4's new floppy features except MK3-emulation.
Can't implement UAE direct floppy support until new core is available. btw, latest Windows driver does not fix all problems.. I still get random bluescreens while booting with CWMK4 installed and hibernate does not work.. |

I can't risk the stability of my work system, so until the bsod problems are fixed, I wouldn't even install the card even if I had one. And no, I don't have one.
