Hmmmm....maybe regretting selling my first A1200 accellerator, Blizzy MK4 with fpu. Maybe. Other than that, all that excessive ppc and mediator stuff I had....well....good riddance. Thanks for the trip, but no need for them any more, bye-bye!

I gave for free my nice C128D about 15-20 years ago.
As I was not doing so much with it then, I don't regret what I did.
Seeing that so many people a still enjoying the C64, I just hope it is still in use by someone and not in a trash somewhere !

I loved my C128D, man. I lost it in a home robbery in the late 80s. It had a few issues with it - like it never played the guitar riff in SKATE OR DIE!'s intro right ...

I somewhat regret selling a nicely tricked-out A3000/25 a few years ago....had a RTG video card, network card, dual floppies, CF for a hard disk, LCD monitor...

I didn't regret it initially. But over the years and with new bits of interesting hardware appearing these days, I miss the last computer I owned that had personality.

I regretted selling my Amiga gear not long after. It was the end of the 90's when I sold it all, a A1200 with 8mb RAM expansion, A500 Plus with internal RAM expansion and A570 CD-ROM unit, also an external 4mb RAM expansion. Couldn't use the external RAM and A570 at the same time though, they would clash and prevent the Amiga working.
I started buying Amiga gear again about 2010 and have a better setup now than I did back then so it's not all bad I suppose.
I won't make the same mistake and sell up again though!

I regret selling both my Amigas in the mid 90s to buy my first PC Pentium 60Mhz. On the plus side, i have now bought an A500 with RAM expansion, optical mouse, zipsticks & internal Gotek (with the addon that looks like a floppy disk sticking out the drive slot). Also got a CD32 with optical mouse, keyboard, competition pro gamepad & a standard gamepad. My pride & joy... A1200 with 32GB CF card, Indivision dvi card, blizzard 1230iv 128MB, optical mouse, zipsticks. All 3 machine connect via HDMI to LED monitors and run/look sweet!!!

I do miss my A1200 with stuffed in 3.5" HDD to 2.5" cable I knocked up, 68030 50MHz accelerator card, and a pretty rare Multisync monitor that could do VGA as well as PAL/NTSC and no need for a flicker fixer for hires modes.

I remember the turning point being the transition from shitty Windows 3.11 at work to Windows 95. We even tried OS/2 Warp before that.

(Turning point being I sold my Amiga and got with the Wintel 486)

This happened at the time Commodore abandoned the Amiga to concentrate on generic PC's instead - fucking utter retards. Commodore Amiga could easily have been the next Apple.

I brought an A1200HD/40 in 2016 with a Microbotics expansion card installed in the trapdoor, and I was sent a text by the seller that he missed it. Before selling it, he didn’t replace the capacitors on the logic board so I got someone to do it for me.

I regret selling my A500 back i the day. I regret it everyday. I can't imagine all the things I had for it. I know I had DigiView, an accelerator of some sort, maybe an 030 with mmu? A ton of original software and a ton more disks. I had the 3D shutter glasses for it also. As well as a GVP HD+ SCSI controller and HDD. I can't recall everything. I have purchased an A500 from ebay about 8 or 9 years ago and that's been my system ever since. But I wish I had my original system back. It's nowhere near the capabilities of my Vampirized A500 now but to have one again, all original and upgrade, that'd be sweet. I sure do miss it.

I gave my Amiga stuff away, and I don't regret it. Since then I have acquired an Amiga 500 to use with a Vampire V4 whenever that gets released (had a Vampire V2 for a while but sold it when the V4 was announced).

The stuff I gave away: Two A4000/060 machines. One towerized (Micronik tower) and one desktop. Cyberstorm Mk3 and Mk2 accelerators, network cards, graphics cards, Toccata, Fastlane Z3, etc. etc. I loved those machines at one point, but didn't use them anymore so I gave them to a better home

Every time I think of selling my A1200, I am pretty sure I will regret it, so I don't.
I really don't use it much, but if I ever want to use it and not have it, with the current trends in prices for these things, I'll never be able to buy it back.

Not exactly the subject of this thread, but related. I haven't sold any of my main Amiga stuff ever, but I have sold plenty of Amiga stuff around that I didn't need anymore and whatever, with no regrets (mainly 500s and peripherals). Although all the software I did sell, sometimes I feel like I miss having them boxed and stuff. But not that much. That's just the ex-collector in me talking probably

Sold my C64c and my 2 A1200s back in the late 90s and have regretted it ever since. One of the 1200s was my first A1200 which also ran my BBS and the other was my best friends which he stopped using/lost interest in after getting a PC, and sold to me since he needed money for weed

, he has never regretted his decision to sell his ;-).

Had an A4000 and a PC back then and did not really need them so i stupidly sold them. I tried asking the guy i sold them to if he still had them but he said he had no clue what happend to them, most likely he turned around and sold them for more cash

Now i have quite a few Amiga machines but id do a lot to get those back, especially my own A1200.

I miss my A1200. It had a Viper Mk V (rebranded M-Tec) 50MHz 68030MMU + 68882 hooked up to a 17" Microvitec multisync, did loads of Vista Pro/Imagine rendering and compiling on it. The CPU would get so hot in summer I cut a big square hole in the desk and put a fan on the floor underneath.

Eventually converted it into a Power Tower and it briefly had a Zorro backplane + Picasso II donated by a friend, although I couldn't get it to work properly. By around 2001 I was running Debian 2.2r1 68k on it.

No idea where that machine is. I thought I left it at the family home but nobody remembers selling/trashing it, and my 500 and 600 are still there. RIP little guy, we had some good times.

Yeah I lost my stack of Amiga Action magazines the same way. Left it at my parents and then one day *poof*, gone. So mysterious.

Sold my Ateo-towered A1200 060/PPC/GFX with 16-bit PCMCIA soundcard, etc. in mid-2000 for rent money and replaced it with a total piece of crap PC. Regret it a few times a year since then...

I worked constantly, creating hundreds of hours of music on that amiga, then I didn't create any more music on the PC until 12 years later. It was an unfortunate hiatus that was all due to missing the amiga.

I wasn't using my A1200 tower since a few years (only WinUAE).

So I almost sold my Ateo 1200 tower / 060 board separately. But 1) the tower deal didn't happen and 2) my other A1200 desktop had a 030 board which appeared to be faulty, so, since the tower was long and tricky to power on & unstable, just took it apart, put the A1200 MOBO & the 060 board in the A1200 desktop, got a new IDE 2"5 HDD, installed whdload & a games menu and now I have this A1200 desktop sitting at my desk, with a dedicated monitor, ready to play (and I play it at least twice a week, my sons too)

And I don't regret my A1260T a second. Too much trouble repairing it/fixing the contacts. Not to mention developping with WinUAE is 10x faster. But a real Amiga gaming experience is on real amiga, nothing else.

Think at one point or another we have all done a stupid act back in the days, when Amiga was less commercial than it used to be.

I, like most of you, have also done a stupid thing in regards to Amiga. Which is a contradiction, as I have always remained loyal to Amiga.

Yet this, what I am about to tell you, is mega science of stupid! In 2001 I acquire an Amiga 3000 for the first time. It didn't display anything but a black screen. There was no drives in it and/or mouse keyboard with it.

I wasn't up on A3000's as I had only owned A500's, 600's, 1200's <(Also towered ones), CDTV and CD32 by that time. Anyways, I wasn't sure about the ROM status how it worked on the A3K? I didn't know if a disk or something else was needed. Not being anywhere up on the Amiga 3000 as I am nowadays, I just gave up on it. I stored it along with about X30 decommissioned 386, 486 and early Pentium 1 PC's, until 2004 where I decided to scrap it. The case with the motherboard along with lots of those 386, 486 PC cases all got weighed in for pennies!

Crazy thing is, I was smart enough to remove the PC motherboards but not keep the Amiga!!

Conclusion:
I did sell the 386, 486 boards for good money as there were some micro boards in there, with Zorro ports on them. Still it doesn't make up for the A3K!! Incidentally, I was never going to confess to this lunacy as I know how many of you love the A3000.
