Elite on Amiga was good, I used to play it to death on the BBC B, and the transition to Amiga was a big one.
Sound effects helped make the game as well, really sounded nice as you destroyed a Thargoid booming out of my HiFi speakers. |

Yeah, got it from TheBox (DRM did a stellar job there, then). Thought the program was OK, but really only contained about 10 minutes worth of content. The rest of it seemed to be constant re-iteration of the same facts for Channel 5's braindead audience.

I can't help but laugh at how programmers are portrayed in the movies and on TV like here. Programming is fast paced and interactive in a challenging way much like a computer game, a race against the clock, pressing the keys in the right order as fast as you can
