They are not clicky at all. They are uncomfortable and their position and way in which you have to apply pressure creates a lot of strain on the back of your thumb/hand.
As I said: try it. NOwadays I use Slik Stisk and they have the same problem with the button, but I prefer it to any other clicky joystick, I hate clickiness. |

Akira I think that you should edit this post:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=3505#post3505 "...I have a few faves... - Suncom TAC-2 / From the C64 days, I acquired one of these a few months ago and I got to use it two days ago. EXCELLENT joystick, one of the best I ever used. It just controls like a dream. One great buy." Do not worry, we all can change of opinion, no problem bro. Yep, I'll have to try it. I don't want to edit what I said :P People are allowed to change their minds.
After years of using it, now I think, it's not the best. As I said, I *WANTED* to love it (evident by that post) but I just couldn't. Anyway bit creepy that you are rummaging through shit old posts of mine ;/ That was SEVENTEEN years ago. JEez. |

Sorry, it wasn't my intention; I just was searching for opinions now. Yes, I understand that if you say so it's just after time using it.
My best thanks for the advices for sure Edit: And also, I've got the idea after reading so many threads on the topic and so many opinions that Joysticks are a very delicate question, depending a lot on everybody's likes/dislikes. BTW: You weren't wrong in your judgement. At least in the part that you said that it was a great buy, as you surely can sell it now for three times the price Last edited by Retrofan; 04 April 2018 at 03:35. |

I've bought two things:
A "3.96mm Pitch 2x12 Pin 24 Pin PCB Slot Solder Card Edge Connector" and a "RDA5807 FM stereo radio module". Ups... Yesterday I bought a "SuperVideo board", but I don't have a C64C and I don't plan to use S-Video Last edited by Retrofan; 03 May 2018 at 02:48. |

Today I received a laser, yesterday some voltage regulators and a 868Mhz transceiver (hopefully to control my heating). 77 orders and all have arrived so far (waiting for 11). |

Did you make 77 orders recently? . And 37p ... come on, did you buy the chip only? It costed me 8€ in the board. I won't say it's expensive though. And yep, for 37p I don't tell you the time About the RDA5807... if you are planning to make the same that I will, have you found a nice case for it?. Linky? And about the voltage regulators, are they DC-DC ones ? Last edited by Retrofan; 04 May 2018 at 18:14. |

37p (38p now, fucking Brexit lol) is for a small board with a couple of surface mount caps/resistors and a 'thing' (oscillator?): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/FM-S...311.0.0.iCOVYp I'm planning a Raspberry PI Zero based clock/radio for my bedroom. 4 digit 7-Segment LED display, small LCD/OLED display for 'stuff', temperature sensor, rotary encoders for control, LM386 audio amp (all working on breadboard). FM was an afterthought. Mostly for podcasts, alarms and who knows what. Voltage reg is a simple LM317. With a couple of resistors you can drop e.g. 5v to 3.3v. |

I bought some stuff that needs modding, as well.
I'm not joking. There are tons of videos on YT how to modify your Opinel. |
