After finishing the main 'episode' of Quake II I started the new Call of the Machine one and oh boy, did they crank up the difficulty. Finished the main game on medium and had to re-start the new episode on easy. Maps are at least three times as long as in the base game. Design isn't as mind-blowingly better as the Quake remaster episode (at least the map 'Too Deep' isn't), but I'd say it's worth getting the remaster just for the new episode.

just figured out today that the recent 2d games Wonder Boy and Monster Boy are different titles

i thought it was the same game released with different names between Jap and rest of the world

just trying the Monster one atm
i haven't completed Wonder Boy Dragon Trap, imo it does become too much frustrating near the end

That's the one with the talking gun, isn't it? Guess it's time to put it on my Steam wishlist

Multiple talking guns, all of them f*cked

It's a really clever storytelling device, as it gives you an onscreen persona-once-removed to do all the talking / thinking aloud for the silent protagonist.

a lot
still proceeding in Far Cry 4, still loving it
it's a beatiful mess, glitches included
my fave chapter, so far

also Ghost Song, a very 'relaxing' metroid like game
it's like metroid, but without bossfights and a lot less action

and Golf Club Wasteland

King's Valley (MSX) for RGL
Vampire Killer (MSX) for RGL

Second one is Caslevania clone that I like more then other clones as it has no timer.

On the Amiga I am currently going through the Incaman levels. On PC most time is atm spent with Train simulator classic.

On Satuday I beat Nemo on MAME. It was a fun game despite being a little too short and a little too easy. On Monday I beat Doom Troopers for SNES on MiSTer. I remember seeing the ads for Doom Troopers back in Nintendo Power and other gaming magazines back in the day and it always caught my interest because it seemed so cool.

After playing it I wouldn't say it was all that great. It was a fun little time waster and I did enjoy the gore of it, but. Certainly not all that cool now as I thought it did back in the 1995 as a 10 year child.

error, later there are also bossfights
great to play imo
this is also on the Switch, strange Nintendo didn't say anything

The game is in Humble Bundle's Spaced Out bundle right now for 30$: https://www.humblebundle.com/games/spaced-out

Especially if you don't have The Outer Worlds it's a decent deal.

I had an awesome time starting Times of Lore by Origin. I love how the gameplay is like Into the Eagles Nest by Pandora, which I played and loved back in the day, but also more developed and complex.

Having another go at mastering Premier Manager 3 when I've got time, is it really as much harder than PM2 as I always thought? Seem to load Buggy Boy up when I've got a spare 15 minutes scarily often too, trying to beat my records, taking it one track at a time.

After watching Civvie's video about Zortch yesterday evening: [ Show youtube player ]
I got bought it on Steam and just played the first map. Had a craving for more late 90s-ish single player FPS and this one doesn't disappoint

On Saturday I beat ZuPaPa! on MAME. I had never heard of the game before I looked it up and figuring it was an SNK title it was worth a look. It was a neat fun platforming that I had a blast playing.
