I've ordered some PCB but they are already asking me questions about how to do certain things which has me a bit worried.

Do you think it would be feasible to fit an A1200 board into the A600 case?

If someone made an A600 case with the expansion port removed and just a flat base I reckon it would be pretty easy, all you'd really need to modify is the joystick area and any expansion card would have to be really short, or maybe just remove the edge connector altogether and add some fast ram in the empty space. I've been interested to know how the Blizzard 1220/4 doubles the 14mhz clock actually.

Trying to design a board around the stock A600 case is going to be really difficult though, definitely more trouble than it's worth.

Tentatively this should be possible as I think the CD32 would close to fitting inside an A600 case if you exclude the optical drive. That would pretty much become an A1200 equivalent if you equip it with something like a TF328/330/360

I liked the form factor, but as a machine A600 seriously underperformed, but if at its core it had AA it could be a nice machine and quite portable!

I think I've found a good substitute for the line filter.
