Just asked Frank of GTW if he knows anything about the game and he has a page about the game due to be released next week. Seems like it was meant to be a sequel to Wrath of the Demon.

Yeah looks very similar, main character wise, probably reused alot of animation.

I was curious that it said that it was released for the ST, but couldn't find it in any game indexers. There's a link to a prototype build for the ST over on that Atari Forum thread, but it is for some other game of the same name unfortunately. From Atari-Forum:

It's this one. Weird that it is MIA as the ads said available now for the ST version

The Atari Mania page has an interesting four page magazine spread on two player games (Bloodwyche, ...) from ST Format that has the short reference to Dominion in it:

Mission software are making much of the midi port option on Dominion, due at the end of February. The space trading game lets eight people play at once, all connected via midi port.

There's another ST Format Computer Shopper Show section:

Mission software were showing off a pre-production version of Dominion, claimed to be "the Elite of the future." Programmer and boss of Mission Software Andrew Walrond described it as having "The graphics of Starglidder and the gameplay of Elite - only three times as much!" One of the game's innovative fatures is that up to eight computers can be networked together, so players can shoot each other, dock each other's space craft and trade.

It's a pity ST Format couldn't take some photos of the pre-production version.. sadge. Seems like the kind of thing that would make good magazine content over anecdotes over never seen again demos.

Interesting on the box art it has an Ace rating, they did ever review a near complete one, or maybe just mock up art?

It's a mock-up:

Gary did however dig out a mock-up of the Chainsaw Warrior cover and how it may have looked when released by EA, so this has been added to the scans.

Yep. Would be interesting to know if it has any connection to Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines as it sounds and looks quite a bit like it.

Probably more coincidence, it was a full 8 years between this and Commandos, and those devs looking on Moby were new and had no ties to other publishers. Doesn’t mean the game/code didn’t end up in other game though…
