Last weekend I got myself a fat PS2 with a bunch of controllers (two broken beyond repair though) and a pile of games for dirt cheap. Been thinking about getting a Playstation for a while and this seemed to me like the best option. Just have to softmod it!

I did get an HP28S calculator and a Goat Simulator PC game though. The calculator was practically free, in quite nice condition and I still have (and use) my HP48GX which carried me through high school and uni, so I do like my RPN calculators. Just tested it out today and it seems to work perfectly. I have seen the Goat Sim on Steam but didn't know that it was also released on physical media, so I had to have it simply for the sillyness of it (was also pennies).. |

A 8bitdo SFC30 controller+Retro Receiver. Playing SNES games with a great pad wireless on real hardware is pure retro gaming bliss. Nearly no input lag (some tests on circuit board showed a 1/5 frame which is nothing). The Retro Receiver also works as a Bluetooth dongle on PCs. All tested emulators worked fine with it, plus while the battery charges you can play via USB connection. I hope 8bitdo will release Sega Saturn (Japan) and Sega Mega Drive 6-Button pads with a Retro Receiver in the near future. |

Oh man I forgot 8bitdo had made a wireless receiver for the SNES. This might be finally the time I take the plunge for one, been wanting it for a long time but I settled with a Buffalo, but now that I also have an SFC, it would be great to have one controller for it and also for all my bluetooth-enabled devices.
