TO be honest, i know Gear Works and i live in the UK. I didn't know they were the same game though. I don't care which name it has in the collection
Good to know about Morph too, can knock it off my checklist. Galactic and Hyperdome, maybe i forgot to check if they were in the games folder and only checked for a HOL entry for those two. My mistake on those. 2 more ticked off. I hope Thermonuclear War goes in, its decent. Jelly Othelly too, a nice Othello type game but different. Looking forward to next update and see what you decided to add. Cheers. |

I have one more request to add (for now, lol). The CD32 version of Mean Arenas. Reason is 2 fire buttons are supported and no disc swapping needed (i assume). Game is identical otherwise i think. Cheers.

Haven't checked if already in your collection but @earok mentioned "neeso" in one of his post and found this that looks really promising (demo available) :
https://neesogames.itch.io/amiga-platformer Seen also that IRN has also few lines about it |

Noticed the following games were missing DD :
I realize some of these omissions might have been intentional of course (e.q. war game titles not being stuff you enjoy playing much, same with text adventures apparently). |

Final Assault has been on my list for ages, but been indecisive about adding... Gnome Ranger along with it's sequel Ingrid's Back! are already in the collection |

Yeah, I thought the first one was pretty bad, but the next two were decent. So I decided the add the American versions above. Edit: I should mentioned that 99.5% of the time I always use the PAL (European) versions of games, but there is that rare occasion where I use the American version, when it's not locked to NTSC timings. For example: ... Falcon Mission Disk Volume 1: Operation CounterstrikeThese have much better title screens than the PAL version, which is just the standard Falcon one on these European data disks. We're in PAL territory so I wouldn't mind the EU releases of these games, a minor quibble. Also, I don't consider Crazy Cars II to be superior to the first opus, but that's just me; It's easy to see why some peeps could be put off by the fuzzy colors of the landscape but that makes the "crazy" vibe stronger somehow. Last, IIIrd opus is a bit more than decent, I wouldn't hesitate to call it a good racing game.
EDIT : Ah, are you implying the American versions of Crazy Cars play faster / smoother ? |

If you're referring to the "Crazy Cars" series then I already answered... I think the first one is rubbish, didn't want to add an incomplete series so went with the American versions (of which there are only the 2nd and 3rd in the series). Quote:

No I wasn't referring to the data disks, just the Crazy Cars bit. Your collection, your decisions. I just don't consider Crazy Cars I to be rubbish, or if it's rubbish, Crazy Cars II isn't far behind in terms of "rubbishness" . A mere matter of taste I guess.

I'll then delete "F40 Pursuit Simulator" but leave "Lamborghini American Challenge", as it's an updated version with 2 player mode added. Last edited by DamienD; 18 March 2021 at 16:27. |

eg. F40 Pursuit Simulator (Crazy Cars II) or (aka Crazy Cars II) Something like that. Obviously they're not identical games, like in the case of Lamborghini American Challenge, but it's close enough. Even HOL lists them as aliases of each other. |

Same thing used to happen with Katakis, as I originally added the updated American version Denaris, but eventually switched back... |
