On the other hand how often do you start without S-S and for what reason. If it annoys you you can bypass it with an altered S-S (e.g. assign env: ) with e.g. keypressed what leads to CON. Advantage is that KCON.prefs and user specified prefs (env variables) will work. Useful to customize programs hard coded CON.

All KingCON does is looking for env:sys/def_kcon.info if I am not mistaken.

Watching harddrive demo's.

Standard 'protocol' for running them is boot -> setpatch -> start from No-SS.

Contains an "improved" version of HappyENV-handler.

Where could one get this version? On Aminet i can find v1.3 (from 1994-06-01) only.

Any pointers welcome...

Hey Romanujan,

that sounds very interesting. I'm not aware of any other romboot-modules. Do you have some links, please?

It seems like scripts don't abort as they should in 3.1.4, from my limited testing with setting failat to 10 and then running a failing program you get the "program failed: returncode 20" but the script keeps on running.

setresult just exits with the given errorcode, but the same could easily be reproduced with type and a file that doesn't exist or similiar.

Send a message via ICQ to SaruwatariKaito
AmigaOS 3.1.4

Since Hyperion have taken down the digital downloads, I've been trying to buy the A500 and A4000 versions.

At the time I could only buy the A1200 edition.

Has anyone one found a dealer supplying them, been emailing the dealers and so far no one is stocking them.

Sad

Yes, I did the same in the past. I've read that people boot into a demo shell for this but there are other solutions for a quick access. Depends on what one wants

Hello daxb,

thanks for the quick reply. Sadly, on the eab-fileserver (grandis.nu) there is only v1.0
I have no account at A1K.org and new registrations are not possible any more
Is there an alternative to installing the whole AmiKit?
