Well, I have now played Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge more hours than I ever intended to do... but I just felt I had to get to know the game really well before making up my mind on my feelings towards it. Feelings I put into words here:

Leger vs. Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge (Amiga)

Dungeon Master on New Years day. On my couch with a glass of wine, A1200 on my lap so I can use the navigation keys, optical mouse with great response. OSSC to my flat screen. Laptop on my left showing me the maps. It's like 1989 again but better.

Played to end 2 arcades:

Space Invaders '95 - The Attack Of Lunar Loonies
Raiden 2

Both of them on single coin while using save states.

As I decided doing a rotation of games I'm playing is helping me not get burned out or too focused on one game at the expense of another. So right now I have three games I'm playing. First is Ready 2 Rumble Boxing for the DC. I played the game a lot on the PS1 and while not the greatest boxing game I never played the DC version before and I'm having a lot of fun playing it.

The second game I decided to pick up after having last played in nearly 3 years ago was Yakuza 4 Remastered for the PS4. Its just as engaging and fun as the last time I played it.

The third game I decided to pick up again was Gran Tursimo 7 for PS4. I just pick this up when I'm in the mood and I was in the mood yesterday to play it.

Along with all of this I did completed my first game of the year on Sunday I beat Michael Jackson's Moonwalker on MAME. It was one of those games that I wanted to play and get off of my backlog.

R2R is fun on DC. One of original games on DC that I purchased before price skyrocketed here.

I would not have bothered if it were not for the game being included in the Big Box 2 collection. But, well... shit is shit no matter how you look upon it.

If time permits, "Paper Mario : The origami king" on Switch (that Santa gifted my mini-Godzillas) is a nice quiet game to play at the end of the day to relax a bit .

Yes it was. Although some people got stuck on the Archons. Not so incredible for them.

Well, a couple of games getting some time until I feel I have played them enough to have formed an opinon worth putting into words.

Breath of Fire (SNES / Wii U) as one of the early Capcom SNES jrpgs. In theory it does many things right and interesting, but playing it is somewhat of a different story. I just have a hard time keeping my focus on the gameplay... much thanks to it being so easy to stay alive that no strategy feels necessary in the MANY random encounters. And it does not do a good job of indicating where to go and what to do next. Nice looking, nice sounding and full of small details that makes it somewhat unique, though.

Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 (Amiga), which is both better, and maybe a tad not as good, as I remember it.

Rampart (Amiga), which is one of those games I can play in any version and stick with it for a couple of hours... even though there are many things I would like to have seen implemented differenyly to make it all feel like a less harsh and rough experience.

Pinball Fantasies (Amiga), the original OCS/ECS version which I just play a while every now and then to understand why I find it being the better version to play if the AGA version is an option. The AGA version I played to death before christmas and realised I like it a lot less than Pinball Dreams... and it just seems to be lacking certain things the OCS/ECS version has.

Kirby Adventures (NES) - made it to world 6. Such a fun little game.

Zybex (C64) - playing for RGL, having issues with auto fire in this game.

Several thanks to emulation and saved state:

Final Fight 2 - Arcade

Super Mario World - SNES

Myth - Amiga. I'm actually playing CD32 version (via RGB-PI). I can't see any graphical enhancements from the version I played on A600. Is this AGA or just standard game on CD like Beneath A Steel Sky (it's how I made my A600 install a talkie version!)?
