Hehehee, I had to go away and calm down after writing my last post.

I certainly hope that Mr B's thought about mis-pricing that game is correct and as scrappysphinx mentions, it isn't even tested. People who price things at obscene prices like that example really are ripping off the folk who are a sandwich short of a picnic and they know it.

I have heard far too much of the collectors crap, this sort of thing is plain and simple exploitation of those who don't know what they are doing, even if this one item was a mistake, there are plenty of other examples just like it.

£199 for a game that cost £30 back in the day? Funk that.

I watched this bid just out of curiosity and discovered that finished unsold.

The complete second edition of the Amiga technical reference for $30 plus shipping from the US. Not bad price, I say.

http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...84.m1438.l2649

Someone should contact the guy and grab those books. They are a valuable reference. Probably the AHRM alone is worth the entire lot, but for the sake of completeness you may want them all.

After getting tired of using a normal screwdriver to open and close casings and other things, I got myself an electric screwdriver and it is the best £12 I ever spent.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2508705261...84.m1423.l2649

This will work off 12 to 30v DC and I have used it with a Minicraft adjustable power supply which was OK, a Weller 24v AC PSU connected to a bridge rectifier works even better and a 30v 850ma DC supply works Brilliantly.

I don't as yet know where to get the right connector for this but if push comes to shove, I will cut the original one off and replace it with another type that is also keyed for polarity (you can put the live and negative on either connection but the rev and forward switch could be in reverse).

There are also lots of driver bits out there on Ebay, this model takes the 5mm diameter bits and is supplied with 2 large pozidrive type bits. It is a pity that this doesn't take the normal hex bits but I bet someone will bring out an adapter for it sometime.

For heavier items the torque adjustment works great although you have to experiment as there are no indicator marks for setting it, for something like an Amiga, I would finish the tightening by hand just in case though.

Still for the price it beats the pants off anything else and it won't run out of power like a battery driver does

Hi there Jay,

it took 13 days from when I bought it, till it arrived but I would say that I was lucky to get it so quickly. They mention that delivery can take between 10 and 25 business days so I was well within that time, customs and when the next ship or plane is due to carry items like this is probably the main part of the wait.

I must admit that I was surprised at how well this little blighter works, as someone who has used various industrial drivers for assembly work, I am very impressed with it so far.

All the best,

Allen.

I'd say it looks like someone trying to "do business" outside of eBay "or just contact me instead with what you need."
