According to Moby Game, Dark Forces & Super Wing Commander share the same specs
->68040 & 8Mb & System 7.1 min with CD-ROM 2X It seems it will be too slow but it's worth a try, who knows, perhaps it will run better than Dark Forces |

In Basilisk, just put the .toast in the list as if it was a hard drive and it works
EDIT : The .cdr works in shapeshifter mounted as a drive, so you can install it, but asks for CD when you launch the game Last edited by Rochabian; 21 September 2020 at 23:56. |

If you use VirtualCD in shapeshifter, you are able to mount the .toast , and then install and launch the game. The CD is now recognized, the preferences menu works,
but when you click start, the preference window become white and shapeshifter freeze. Me and Zarnal have the same result for now whith the same procedure with BasiliskII on Windows, game is working fine I don't know if it's a bug in shapeshifter or a bad configuration/incompatibility |

Install the Super Wing Commander update from Macintosh Garden. At least on WinUAE the game works fine.

Yeah, I actually have spent many many hours into testing 68k Mac games on WinUAE, I'm going to dig deeper into them on a real hardware once I have Warp 1260.
Here is list of some working CD games that I found interesting. Some of them only work in Fusion. Allied General, Panzer General, Master of Orion II, Civ 2, Caesar II, Achtung Spitfire, HoMM 1 and 2, Warcraft 1 and 2, Lost Eden, Re-Elect JFK, Congo, Angel Devoid, Journeyman Project 1 and 2, Bad Mojo, Wrath of the Gods, Crystal Skull, Hardline, Star Trek 25th and Judgment Rites, The Dark Eye, Pyst, Monty Python & the Quest for the Holy Grail, Deadlock: Planetary Conquest, Outpost, Rebel Assault I and II, Blackthorne, Pathways into Darkness, Damage Incorporated, The Incredible Machine 3, Entomorph, Comanche, Links Pro, PGA Tour Golf III, Warlords II, Souls in the System. Haven't managed to get Mac games with CD audio tracks to play music on WinUAE, so thats one thing to look forward once I get my real hardware in order. |

Impressive list!
Surely some of them will be too slow for CD32 with accelerator but it's a good list to start with. Thanks |

The update from Macintosh garden didn't fix the CD ROM issue for me. I suspect my CD is broken. :-( |

Use the .toast file from macintosh garden and mount it with Virtual CD/DVD
https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/vir...-romcd-utility Works for me If it's still not working, perhaps i can share the .hdv file somewhere Last edited by Rochabian; 24 September 2020 at 08:25. |

Browsing the Macintosh Garden site - some great game here, never emulated Mac (difficult?) but came across some games that may be nice in Damien D's collection (although aware some aficionado's prefer just Amiga titles)
Lots of FMV adventure games I have not heard of either - so may need to emulate it to play them - some look ok Only tried to include games that may be possible to emulate in WinUAE Action: Postal (classic version) Adventure: The Time Trap: The Interactive Adventures Of Blake & Mortimer Sports: Kick Off 2002 Links LS / LS 2000 / Pro (Links on the Amiga sucks) Other: Alter Ego (available on the C64) |

I actually don't think there's nothing wrong to put MAC titles in Amiga collection
I mean, we are talking of fun ..... so where's the problem ? The only doubt i have is about the quality of the emulation itself I mean, we are talking of emulation under other emulation .... not an easy task i guess But i am not skilled enough to understand this point .... i let other eab members the words on this issue |

As said in my thread chip; emulating a MAC on the Amiga is as good as being directly on a MAC.

Thanks, I saw someone mention using miniscreen on shapeshifter thats why I mentioned it but it doesn't seem to do anything for me.
I now POP2 works on 040 but did anyone try changing Shapeshifter x screen size to 512? I can't remember, does it make any difference on 030, I tried but I can't get anywhere in this game. |
