So I remember another version of an update for 3.x that was released but pulled, which was it again? I can't remember what the reason for pulling it was?

For a mods, this is fine example why thread titles should be changed if they have false statement. |

@nar001:
Nothing was pulled, it is still available for purchase. No agreement has been reached, hence the court case. |

I would like to see a GUI for diskdoctor and possibly a TCP/IP stack included as standard. The only problem with the later of course is lack of space as like WB 3.1.4 it uses actual floppy disks for installation.

I don't know if it's possible within the timeframe but +1 on inclusion of TCP stack

I don't think a TCP/IP stack should be included, since one can easily be added if required. And definitely not if it's just a rehashed AmiTCP.
A GUI for diskdoctor also seems pointless (but hey, anyone is welcome to make one!). Other tools are available if you want something with a fancy GUI. |

I hope Hyperion gives a slight discount to users that bought the real ROMS for 3.1.4 as they’ll basically be useless once 3.2 ones come out ...don’t get me wrong I’m sooo happy my favourite OS is being updated and never thought I’d have to buy 2 new OS ROMS within a year of each other

I hope the icons will be glowicons as standard and that you don't have to copy them over from the Storage disk as in AmigaOS 3.1.4.

Future versions of the OS should IMO make it easier for developers to write programs. Tools and OS functions, Utility.library should be expanded to offer as many functions as needed so developers don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Adding all of the commons algorithms in there...

You can only create new libraries with these functions that can still be installed on older OS versions, too. |

@PeterK, well it is up to the developer to used theses functions and why not buy the new OS if it is better? why stick to older 3.x? |

Maybe when the time has come to release an NDK, add informations about how to code in AmigaOS native (dev tools to use enforcer etc.) and cross. A guidance about which functions to use instead of old ones etc. Why not deprecate the old ones who have better replacement?
