@BigD
No. Just download Karlos' mod (there is the original in the zone that I uploaded or the latest version on his github page) put it somewhere on your hard drive, drop a TKG executable in the same directory and away you go. You may have to alter some assigns in the launch script but that's about it. or at least it works for me. if you get any bother just give us a shout. |

Playing Gothic again after at least 12 years. The game is still amazing. Kicks you right in the nuts from the startt and once you clawed your way through the first 5 or 6 hours it's payback time

Dying Light is one of those games I regularly return to because it is just a lot of fun causing grand carnage in huge gatherings of zombies. But essentially when I get to the old town... the game kind of fizzles out for me. Just like Dead Island the world becomes less interesting the further you progress and that is not a fun combination with the game becoming more unforgiving too.
Dead Island 2 looks promising though, duking it out with the horde in LA. Can't wait. |

Amiga: nothing lately except for some Battle Squadron
C64: Circles (from Craptastic 4K Game Compo 2022). Addictive and frustrating! PC: Elite Dangerous Odyssey. Exploring the world for some relaxation and beautiful sceneries. |

Gothic 2. The game opens by punching you in the gut. Even more so than Gothic did. The world opens up pretty slowly. Still the game looks and sounds very good for a 20 year old game and the dialogue is excellent. Off to more suffering in a bit

Yeah Gothic 2 is brutal deluxe. Save scumming is a gameplay feature. It's been a long time, I'm going to give it another whirl too.

Quake Remastered horde mode, split screen with friends.
I had my doubts about the remaster when it wasn't based on a familiar source port, but I can't fault the Kex version tbh. |

Took me a while to get used to it again (not as long as it took me to get the blasted game to even run though...). I forgot how you have to dance to fight in this game, much like in the first Witcher game. Backstep, enemy attacks, backstep, swing! Sidestep, sidestep, enemy attacks and misses, swing swing!

RGL season is done, and I just completed afterward Green Berets. This season was unusual since we had quite few micro games vs. usual arcades.
Playing: Dying Light (PC) Crash Bandicoot (PSX on MiSTer FPGA) |
