Nice bend on that top left pin, do they come pre-bent like that or do you have to pay extra for that?

Here's my recent purchase, well brought it before the PPC card but was waiting for parts to arrive. This is the GVP A530, its been restored from grotty yellow back to its former colour, the turbo switch sadly went a little lighter than it should. I have just upgraded it to 8MB RAM ( Hard to find) and fitted an FPU, now my A500 is faster than a standard A1200 or A3000! Was lucky with this one, someone selling it on Ebay as dead and all it turned out to be was the PSU. If anybody has the floppy discs to go with an A530 I would be interested to complete this box set.

I remember the thread where you were having trouble with the PSU and feeling so fortunate mine worked. Now yours is so clean and you have 4 megs more memory than me I'm green. Certainly no tinker toy hardware there. BTW only one disk came with my A530, you mentioned plural.

Yes, I had an absolute nightmare with that power supply, in fact, I re-capped the whole lot and replaced almost every transistor in it, there were a few unknown parts which may have been Zenners but I couldn't be shure, long story short, I brought another GVP HD8+ with the right power supply and cut my losses. I ended up with 2 nice HD8+ in boxes and this one as can be seen in the pictures, very happy with it :-)

I got a nice little Dell optiplex 960 small form factor pc a few days ago to become my new Plex media server. It's got a core 2 duo 3ghz cpu, 160Gb hdd and will shortly get 4gb of ddr2 800 ram to replace the slower 2gb 667 ram.

It doesn't need any more storage as it plays my Media from my Hp micro Server which has 9tb in a hw raid 5 array.

Anyway I finished migrating Plex over and it's running great on on Windows 7 ultimate.

Scooped some Amiga hardware today off of Craigslist.

In the stack and boxes are 3 Amiga 2000's and 1 Amiga 3000!

Keyboards, mice, tons of addon boards. Some serial multi port boards, haven't looked at all of them yet. I'm guessing the 2000's might have been part of a BBS? A3000 looks to have Unix on it, but haven't powered any of it up yet. Need to remove onboard clock batteries.

Grand total, $25.

Bought up lately a Nec PC-engine Duo (need a recapping, but external aspect is great), awesome with 10 games in loose (R-type, Street Fighter 2', Bomberman, Pc-kid, Fantasy zone, + others) + Arcade Card + 3 players adaptator. Dracula-X, Spriggan 2, Pang, Red Alert are all fun to play (did i said 'Snatcher' from Kojima ?').

Hi Denis,
how did you realize that it needs a recapping?
