I saw NES portables but they weren't cheap. I have duo for home also. But this, I just couldn't resist. And I want to see the faces of people selling cartridges on the flee market after negotiations when I take out this Cartridge Inspection Unit On The Go

For now it's just a sticker. Like in true famiclone style, what says on the sticker usually isn't on the chip but it's one superhero

Have not powered the 500 up yet,
as when I checked out the trapdoor
a giant dust/fluff bunny fell out
Opened her up and Dust Bunny City

The games are complete and in good nick --- mostly.

The Spare (light A600) PSU gives strange readings on my Multi-meter
The +12 and -12 give 15 Volts (needs a load ?)
and the +5 gives 6 on start up but dies very quickly ---
like a Capacitor loosing its charge.

#Update#
Powers up OK
But original drive is faulty ---
It just clicks once and goes back to Insert Disk Screen whatever disk you give it

Swapped drive - now seeing Workbench...

The Trapdoor memory module has a Battery...
Considering removing it ---

Couldn't help myself my favorite toy car as a kid and now I get to set another one free.

I'll bet my boys love it as much as I did.

Aren't Mums just great! She asked me what i wanted for Xmas this year and i pointed her to a pong console i had my eye on for my retro collection.

This Tandy console looks just like the one i had when i was a kid minus the light guns, and apparently it came out in 1977 and still works great even after 37yrs!

It will now be under the Xmas tree this year

I have bought this Bubble Bobble cardholder:

https://www.gamerabilia.co.uk/bubble...r-classic-blue

but after it arrived, I am really dissapointed. Look:

The dimensions are totally wrong and the whole holder is useless.

You're right mate that is rubbish isn't it.

However these look awesome!!

https://www.gamerabilia.co.uk/bubble-bobble-plush-soft-toys-bub-bob-sound-effects

Shame they are out of the Bub ones though, and the sound effects are from Bust-a-Move not Bubble Bobble, they should sound out sections from the music from BB that would be loads better….

They are now on my Christmas list any way thanks for the heads up

I'm not sure having your card number displayed for all to see is such a good idea!

Hey, I had nearly the same console back then. It was called the Universum TV-Multi-Spiel 2006 here in germany.

Dont worry, it is an invalid card, I recently cancelled the bank account behind it.
