Hello all! Mine was a compilation disk (by Quartex i think) that included Arkanoid (can't remember if 1 or 2), Axel's Magic Hammer, Rick Dangerous and… Can't remember what was the last game. How did they manage to squeeze all those games on a single floppy was beyond my comprehension. Rick Dangerous hooked me for days and days and days.

Mine was Double Dragon II. That title music still remains one of my all time favourite pieces of music.

Mine was Speedball on a friends amiga. I had been playing speedball on my c64 earlier so it was a real eye-opener the graphics and the sound you knew the amiga was going to be special. The 8-bit to 16-bit transition was a special era kids today just don't realise and take it for granted.

Oh no! we've all turned into the modern version of the 4 Yorkshire men from the famous Monty Python sketch.

"I used to dream of hav'in an 8 bit"

"You were lucky!"

"But you try and tell the young people today that... and they won't believe ya"

Me to (sort of), Sidewinder was the first game i saw that made me buy a game but it was the "Elgato Demo" running on an A500 in Dixons that sold the Amiga to me.

Not sure of the exact game. I remember buying my first Amiga that came with loads of demo's though from Evesham Micros. One was called 'ugly mug' which was a mug with a face on it spinning. Was amazed by that.

When my dad first brought home a commodore 64, the first games I played were Klaxx, Freddies Big Top Of Fun and Flimbos Quest.

When The Amiga Appeared one day, the first games I booted up were Stunt Car Racer and Monkey Island, have never looked back.

Every disk that came with it was a copy mind, don't think I had any originals until I started buying some with pocket money. Or found someone at school who could copy something I wanted

Got my first A500 in July 1987 and my first game was "Amiga Karate" followed by "Barbarian" (Psygnosis)

Gosh, the start couldn't be much worse....

First Amiga game you ever witnessed...........

Well the first one I cannot remember the title, it was few years before I bought my own Amiga.
I walked over to my mates place to swap some Atari XE games and he showed me his new Amiga 500

So like I said I don't know the title and to this day I have not seen this game again but the second game we played was Vixen! and I still have it!

Btw, the game in question was a platform action game, the main character had a body of a human but a head of an ape I believe. Platforms to jump and items to collect, I cannot remember the enemies or anything else

Blimey. Sidewinder was a tough game! Yes, I remember the great music too and the digitized title screen (was that in HAM mode?). The in-game SFX were excellent too.
