Working no problem with the 5 or so games I've tried, thanks for all your hard work, going to have a good play around with this lot tonight.

@HOL2001 and @ransom1122

No worries!

@Reido

Great! Which ones did you try? Mostly curious to know so I won't need to check them.

@Ebster

That's weird, I assure you they both work OK on my real CD32. iXien (from France I believe) reported some similar issues, though I can only presume we're all using the same model (PAL).

I did have some problems launching some games from CD-R recently though that just turned out to be a combination of a dirty lens and lower quality media, it might be worth trying decent quality media (eg Verbatim, maybe Imation if you're not already) and a lens cleaning kit to see if it makes a difference. Have you tried your burned discs in WinUAE?

If you can wait until July I might be making a brief trip to Frankfurt (going to London but planning to take the direct train to Frankfurt for a day or two), so I may be able to help you diagnose the issue directly.

@Ebster

Reido confirmed on another thread that the quality of the CD will sometimes determine whether or not a game loads, even if the main menu loads. What brand are you using?

It's great to see this release. Sega magazines promoted Wonder Dog as a reason to buy the Mega CD add-on, but the improvements were fairly minimal. I'm surprised there wasn't an official CD32 release at the time.

Just out of curiosity does anybody know
a brand of CD-RW that works ?

I tried Intenso... (Blue Dye)
but they don't even spin up

I assume Nero Closes/Finalizes all discs

You might have issues with any CD-RW. As they need to be closed.
I have used all types of CD-R's without issue on my CD32.

Great stuff!

Just got myself another CD32 this week, so i will be burning some of these discs next week, can i ask for a request for a future disc, Indy Heat, me and my son love 2-players on this, really fun, can't see it on any compilation, plus i prefer the smaller compilations like yours with only 1-8 games on.

@ransom @reido thanks for the birthday wishes! Much appreciated

@Amigajay I can do that! If someone can wish for ten more great two player games (preferably ones that don't require a keyboard for the second player) I'll do vol 2 of the Birthday collection asap
